Overall quite a good review. As an old guy who has had a number of E30's over the years and in period I would add a few details. The 325e was available until 1988 and with the updated bodywork (albeit very rare). In 1988 it was a bit of a hybrid year because they went to the bigger tail lights but kept the aluminum bumpers. Lastly the 'is' models had many other differences including totally different seats, steering wheel, rear spoiler, and front air dam. Great cars and a real awesome way to get into what is now a classic.
Hey, im glad you enjoyed the video. Yes there are definitely details i overlooked, i didnt want to make the video too long.
I want to buy one soon. Great cars, i just drove a 325es a few weeks ago, very slow cars by today's standards, i think a 325i is what i might buy, slightly more power.
@@nick_nay I'm in the minority in that I preferred my 325e to all of the other E30's I owned including 2 325is'. The torque was really nice in every day driving and I found the eta engine to be much more versatile. Best of luck with your search. You will not regret having an E30
The reason why i love the E30 M3 because the BMW E30 M3 was racing in Touring car racing and DTM in 1980s and 1990s also the E3O M3 was the rival of the Mercedes 190E Evolution 2 at the race track.
Also fun fact about the E30 M3
The E30 m3 was the same dogleg gearbox transmission like the Mercedes 190E both of them are linline 4 engines and rear wheel drive and both of them are Touring car racing.
