This is some educative video, it vividly captures life in An African village. I spent most of my young days in the village so I relate very well to the scenes portrayed here! Please post some more sections.
We are lango of uganda uganda. Jaluo knows our origin so well we are nilo-hamites &so closed to karamojong, masai, turukana, jie.we speak luo because we forgot our language because of intermarriages with them
This is a variation of Dholou as u know it. It is either Acholi or Lango (of Uganda). The best example i can give is the bukusu and maragoli of kenya , they are both Luhya but a variation of each other. If you listen really carefully you will be able to follow the conversation albeit with some difficulty. The Luo are a beautiful people whether they from in Sudan, Uganda, Congo, Tanzania or Kenya.
Luo is luo and lango is lango; I am a lango from lira (living and working in germany). Your translation has surprised me. Ther are very many similarities - some more translations
