I only checked out vinted recently but have bought a pair of Next leather ankle boots which were £50 and only worn once but got them for £10. Will be handy for winter. So many bargains to be had and have saved money already.
I think second hand trainer prices will go down soon when people cotton on you can get brand new trainers at outlets for these prices plus gigaset sell for triple the price. i sold a duo set for £100 same day
Yeah not all brands have outlet shops though, but get what you mean. I try to go for unusual high value brands, instead of the Nike/Adidas all the time
@JammyDodgerFlips yeah I know like the brooks and merrell outlet near me are about £20 off. But nike outlet is crazy prices but it's beating all the resellers to the good sizes
I sold a cards against humanity a while ago and never had any issues. I did however have ebay warn me a few times about a pikachu hat I was trying to sell weirdly.. but as you said, adjusted my item details and now it's fine? Wonder what it is in ebay that flags things sometimes. also fair play on the nerf gun sales, I avoid nerf now as my last two sales were awful haha
Thanks! Yeah they’re a pain to pack but usually sell pretty strong. Very odd about the Pikachu hat 😂 eBay do have some weird rules, one that makes me laugh is that you can’t put the word ‘Velcro’ in the listing title due to copyright 😂
Yep, ebay recently removed my factory sealed Cards Against Humanity saying they were counterfeit because of the printing on the box. When I appealed 3 times they just basically said "Tough shit, we say its fake. Wheres your receipt?" When I saud I bought 2 about 5 years ago, do you keep receipts for 5 years? They said "Some people do!" I just replied "Yeah, chronic horders!" Ebay sucks.
EBay is so weird sometimes. I purchased a game that turned out to be fake.. the seller had loads of them soo reported with photos for proof and they wouldn’t do a thing 🤷♂️ The seller also had negative feedback for selling other fake goods but they just didn’t seem bothered
Hello, I really enjoy your videos. you've inspired me to start reselling. I want to document my journey on RUclips, I've just bought a gopro and a chest strap, do you have any techniques of disguising the go pro so people don't know your filming. feel like ill get a lot of hassle if people see me filming at carboots. Thanks alot mate!!!
Thanks for the comment! I just have it sticking out from my coat on a chest strap. Most people don’t see it. If you just act natural, no one suspects a thing 👀
@@JammyDodgerFlips ahhh that’s a good trick. I was just worried people would give me grief haha. One more question. I’m not sure if it’s just the go pro I have but for some reason the battery drains really quickly. Is this a problem you come across with your go pro? Thank you so much for getting back to me mate!🙏
Hi there, great videos as usual, with your vinted pick ups do you have a software to help you or do you tend to sit on vinted for a while and refresh saved searches? Do you have notifications on for when someone uploads something? Thank you in advance 😊
Thanks! Nope, I just have the app open pretty much all my working day, whilst doing pictures/listing, and just constantly refresh the pages. Not good for my screen time, but is a great way to get stock. 🙌🏼
hello, loving the content! I'm looking at getting into the UK re-selling scene and was wondering if you had any experience with abandoned storage locker actions. I see them being very popular/profitable in the united states and sure is a gamble but I'm sure if you choose the right ones it could be worth while. I live in London so there is not shortage of options here but not sure what to look for. if you have dabbled in this area before I would appreciate any advice or tips on what to look for/avoid. (also might be a good video idea for the future?). Thanks to anyone who can advise me!
Hey! Thanks for watching, personally I haven’t ventured into this. I think there is definitely profit, but you also need to be ready for losing out. The upfront cost is usually pretty high, so if you have the funds to explore this, then go for it. But I prefer the car boots with the £1 bargains, with items that you can inspect before buying. 🙌🏼
As i starting seller/reseller on ebay, what would you say is best way to get traffic into your store? Is it to have loads of listings at one time or spread them out?
Just keep listing consistently, even just 1 a day keeps the shop active. Good pictures, competitive prices, fill in all the item specs. That’s pretty much the main things you need to focus on 👍🏼
Yeah I should really, I’ve never sold a single item on Vinted 😅 also heard stories about people buying lots and then selling just one single item, has got them kicked off… not sure how true that is 😬
@@JammyDodgerFlips personally, just add a few items onto it. Wait till the vinted pro comes along to add lots on. But give it a trial with a few smaller items. Will give you all the profit then without risking the fees 🙂
Is free postage better to do for tax reasons or is it just which you prefer? i charge for postage atm but not sure wether to change it keep it up thanks mate
Doesn’t make a difference for tax purposes. I do it purely to make my listings stand out and reach a little higher in people’s searches. There’s not much proof it’s actually better to do this, but so far so good. Just need to make sure the profits aren’t getting hit too hard building postage into the sale. Thanks! 😊
I genuinely love these videos as I also do vinted, but the prices you sell some shoes for, as you speculated at the beginning with the dog bitten Martins, must be fans. I have sold maybe 650 pairs of shoes on ebay and these prices are simply not achieved in general. So I lile to see your profit margins, but its not realistic on a day to day....unfortunately!
Thanks! £65 is pretty fair seeing as apart from that, they’re in great shape. Usually the subs drop a message if they buy, so I really don’t think it was one. That style sell for £100 plus, so £65 with a quality repair, is a fair price still. Appreciate the comment, but as you see, the shoes I pick are near to new condition, so the high profits are definitely achievable.
Agree. Who on earth sells Converse worn once for £5? More unbelievably, who the hell pays £46.99 for the same pair? FOURTY SIX 99? 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏼♂️ Naivety = a resellers dream. Once again putting the jammy into Jammy Dodger Flips. …I love this channel, helps me escape from reality.😂
@JammyDodgerFlips how do you post? Is it Evri/similar or Royal mail? I had some drama with both even with tracking etc it's a nightmare with Ebay as they side with the buyer most times when something goes "missing"

Nicely done! Sounds like a bargain there. Vinted is pretty much all I use now for my own shoes too. Never gonna buy in a real shop again 😂
i love to binge watch these videos lately. keep it up
me 2 lol , love the walkaround vids.
Glad you’re enjoying it! More to come 😊
Great sales yet again…! I look forward to your videos with the shoe & trainers flips 😊
Thank you! Stay tuned, more to come 😊
Good finds again bro! Just got back from holiday myself so need to get my head back into selling mode now 😂

@JammyDodgerFlips wow usually fetch alot more. Awesome sales still.
I’ve dabbled in the vinted reselling game, got about 5 pairs of trainers hopefully coming in. Feel like all I’ve done is refresh vinted all weekend 🤣
Nice!! Yeah it’s a whole lot of page refreshing, but when the bargain comes along, it’s so worth it.
@@JammyDodgerFlips and trying not to jump the gun when I see a pair of brand spanking new balance for a tenna, scammers 🤮

Who pays £110 for those silver Uggs 😅
Nice sales update video 👍
