As I grow older, musically and as a person lalo kong na a appreciate music nila, yes nagsimula sila during the height of Nu Metal scene which is... lets be honest, a genre of metal that haven't aged very well thanks to handful of generic bands... *cough* limp bizkit *cough*... pero Queso have proven themselves to be more than those bands just like how System of a down and Deftones did, for me Queso is what Nu Metal bands in the Philippines during the early 2000 should have been, they're unique, heavy, angsty, dark but groovy and funky, their lyrics are thought provoking and the vocal delievery is unique, not just a Jonathan Davis rip-off, all I'm sayin' is that, like Queso, they should've been striving to be unique, incomparable to their local and foreign counterparts.
