Hey Dr. Shemmassian, recently graduated from undergrad with a biology major. I am an otherwise well rounded student, however have a deficiency on the GPA side of things. Toward the end of my undergraduate program is when I really took things seriously, and did well toward the end of my undergraduate courses. I have LORs, a significant amount of clinical experience, good GRE score, and I am planning on taking the PA-CAT soon and hoping to do very well on that. Unfortunately, I am missing 0.01 from my science GPA to get into PA school. What do you recommend I do? Are there any ways of increasing that GPA to get to the minimum required by the PA programs? Would they be lenient if I score very high on the PA-CAT?
