This is part of my top 10 good moral episodes in MLP. You can really see sincere character developments throughout this episode and the relationship between Spike and Gabby really got the "AWWWWWWWWW!!!" out of me. It's probably one of the few good Spike episodes we watched besides Gauntlet of Fire. :D
I wasn't happy with Rarity's underhanded ways either, but her feelings, ug, I can't be angry about that since I feel the same way a lot when I feel like I've been left behind by those I see as friends.
I’m on Thespio’s side. Id say Raritys actions in this episode are definately more believable in “Dragon Dropped”. Better than Rainbow in “246 Great” and Twilight in “Trivial Problem”.
But if A Matter of Principles is noncanon then we don't get Starlight's wave motion gun. Surely some character mishaps can be accepted to keep that glorious moment?
i am with both and Voice and Thespio. i give this a one Hoof up and one Hoof down to this ep but i give this review two Hoof's up. this was fun to watch.
it's an 8/10 Super Mushrooms, I mean I do agree on you, Voice, why can't Rarity leave Spike alone just for spending time with Gabby, but also I agree on Thespio, due to Rarity's Dramatic Apology, it brings my smile to my face
Gave me a new ship to ship, Gabby x Spike and I think that it’s a more healthier relationship than Sparity. I think that Gabby and Spike would make a great couple. 12:10
people who unironically wanna see sparity are the same people who would bully and harass an underaged person for not wanting to ERP with their much older OC.
Rarity has been taking advantage Spike's crush, even though she knew all about it and obviously had no intention of returning his feelings. That is a cruel thing to do, and she's been doing it for years. Her actions in this episode are fully in-character in my opinion.
Not "vindictive ex-girlfriend", but "possessive but oblivious friend who didn't realize how much the relationship meant." possibly with undertones of "wait..... he's _my_ boyfriend". No vindictive ex-girlfriend than a didn't realize that is what he was going for and she wanted till he already moved on one I guess. As for Rari-Light.... no more or less forced of a ship than any other thus far. I say you go with your _fan_tacy
I for one liked the episode, and while yes Tabitha brought her A-game on this, I ALMOST mistook Rarity's actions to get Spike back as something entirely different. But hey, at least she was getting the picture at some point rather than not at all. Because that would've made her look even worse. And it was nice to see Spike had made a new friend to boot. To some, that maybe an understatement, but I'm just putting it out there. As for the next episode, I pray that you two just make it through this. Otherwise, someone's gonna fire a tranquilizer dart. And it's not for defending Trixie.
I laughed a lot in this episode. Despite the series being on its final season, I wonder if Equestria Girls is also going to have a decent series finale as well. Is it only fair that the series both get a satisfying conclusion?
The only part I didn’t like about the episode was where in the Castle, after Gabbys breakdown and walking away from Spike, who felt really bad for not telling her. And what does Rarity do, just wants to still keep playing the game, that made me cringed. That was a poor reaction on her part. I know she was possibly trying to cheer Spike up, But That’s Not How You Do It! Other than that it was an ok episode. My SpikeBelle ship will float back! Haha! And, Oh come on. The next episode wasn’t that bad.
I'm personally half and half about this episode. As for A Horse Shoe In, while I didn't like the episode myself, I don't think it is nearly as bad as All Bottled Up and A Matter of Principals
I thought the episode was cool, in my opinion it's a good thing that Spike is moving on from his crush on Rarity and i know some might disagree on that, but the reason why i think it's good is because as we all know Spike's crush on Rarity is a tree he's been barking up since the series first began, and it hasn't gone anywhere since, which is why i think it's for the best that Spike moves on in search of a new love interest instead of continuing to chase after one that deep down he knows he's never gonna get, i mean Gabby may not have been the next best choice for Spike's love interest, but at least she'd be better than Rarity...at least in my opinion.
@@TheCommenterDragon I think it's cute, I can see it happening as a possibility. I mean I was a Spike Belle shipper from day one, but I can see that not happening as well. It's alright to either agree or disagree.
Just because it’s a matter of principals and all bottle up conbunation doesn’t mean it’s terrible like a matter of principals you guess are worrying over nothing also you guess don’t like all bottle up only because trixie was annoying that how she was written also a horse shoe in doesn’t have a bad lesson like in a matter of principals you guess are worrying to much
Trixies annoyance wasn’t the only reason voice doesn’t like “All Bottled Up”. He also doesn’t like the subplot with the Mane six and even considered the “Best Friends” song one of the worst of the series/or season.
I kinda like this episode but after raritys selfishness and greed went to 8/10 to 5/10 the way rarity acted to get him back made me upset she one of my top 5 favorite ponies instead of her telling spike how she feeling she went all full discord in that episode Make new friends but keep discord So yeah this episode for me was a 6.5/10
Honestly I thought that with a title like dragon dropped, I thought rarity was going to be responsible for causing spike some serious injury and be so guilt-ridden she obsessively dote on him to the point of absurdity
Personally i see it as Spike is the closest male friend Rarity has had. And one who has a crush on her for her looks and only became more infatuated with her as he got to know her. Given Rarity's romantic interests showed no interest in her, i think she appreciated spike's crush on her because it was something she has been looking for for a long time. Granted he's most likely 10 yrs younger than her maximum (i think of the mane 6 as being the same age as their EqG counterparts. Its just that they live in a society that designates them as old enough to hold an occupation and if spike was human too i can see him being late elementary school age while the CMC and maybe even Gabby are around middle school age) but still. Im sorry if i didnt articulate this train of thought too well
ACK poor Thespio 🤣💙💖 I thought this was a fine episode. Still again liked the last episode better (but I might be biased because Fluttershy is my favorite pony) but I didn’t hate this episode. It was just fine. Although I kinda wish Gabby was around in the background in previous episodes to make it all a little more believable. Just felt like they just randomly selected Gabby as Spike’s new companion. Eh it still doesn’t take anything away. 👍🏻💙💖
Oh come on, the next episode isn’t really that bad. (Yes, I’ve watched the leaked episodes including the Finale. Sue me.) I am willing to bet a thousand bits that you may give a hooves neutral or a hooves up.
I'll come out and say it This episode imo is the worst of the series. Worse than even my old least favorite, One Bad Apple. The way they portray Rarity literally is fucking acting like someone that would groom a child.
Spike and rarity are a thing and yes spike can be together with her after his molt he’s in his early 20’s plus rarity knows spike still loves rarity and still gets too hang out with gabby I agree spike is the winner
Um Spike is basically a kid/tween and Rarity is an adult the age difference is way to big. This isn’t like a kid having a crush on someone who’s a year or two older than them it’s more like a middle schooler having a crush on an adult celebrity
10:13 I just noticed that....... O.o

It's not that bad you guys...the Trixie parts maybe but everything else is on point.
ALL HELP HAS BEEN SENT!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEXT EPISODE!!
Thespio is not bias here. I like that
3:11 Twilight and Flash Sentry forever!
I wasn't happy with Rarity's underhanded ways either, but her feelings, ug, I can't be angry about that since I feel the same way a lot when I feel like I've been left behind by those I see as friends.
Zodia195 what are your thoughts on a horse shoe in
I’m on Thespio’s side. Id say Raritys actions in this episode are definately more believable in “Dragon Dropped”. Better than Rainbow in “246 Great” and Twilight in “Trivial Problem”.
Eh, I'm on the fence about Dragon Dropped (I seem to be more on the fence with Season 9 episodes lately ^^; ) but yeah.... pray for these two
I'll send help! I hear Trixie isn't doing anything right now...
I assure you that “A Horse shoe in” is much better than “Matter of Principles”(which should probably also be noncanon).
But if A Matter of Principles is noncanon then we don't get Starlight's wave motion gun. Surely some character mishaps can be accepted to keep that glorious moment?
Mr. ZAP okay I exaggerated but I just hated Discord’s Behavior which makes me appreciate “What about Discord” more.
We'll pray for you both, gentlemen.
Just hang in there and persevere.
i am with both and Voice and Thespio.
i give this a one Hoof up and one Hoof down to this ep but i give this review two Hoof's up.

12:10
True. I also ship spabby Spike x Gabby!
Duusu Fan MLB
I completely switched to Gabby x Spike
Totally agree. Out of all the ships there are for Spike Gabby is the best choice
people who unironically wanna see sparity are the same people who would bully and harass an underaged person for not wanting to ERP with their much older OC.
Is it just me or duz this episode bring to mind ”Like fine wine”
Between Voice shipping Spike and Gabby and Thespio shipping Raritwi, I relate so hard! 😂
And Voice at one point (probably still somewhat does maybe) shipped Spike and Rarity.
This was a really fantastic episode.
Spike is the main character of a harem anime.
Rarity has been taking advantage Spike's crush, even though she knew all about it and obviously had no intention of returning his feelings. That is a cruel thing to do, and she's been doing it for years. Her actions in this episode are fully in-character in my opinion.

What did you mistake her actions for?
I laughed a lot in this episode. Despite the series being on its final season, I wonder if Equestria Girls is also going to have a decent series finale as well. Is it only fair that the series both get a satisfying conclusion?
I’m pretty sure Gabby is also a child or young teenager around the CMCs age so shipping her with Spike isn’t really an issue
Not at all actually. Which is why I ship Spike and Gabby! 😊
You boys are fantastic!
it's good to see thespio defending this episode
I agree with Thespio on Rarity.
*Me as the video is ending*
How bad can A Horse Shoe-In be?
Besides, there's been worse.
*after watching the episode*
I take it back!
3:50 Am I the only one to notice Rarity's shadow missing its mane?
The only part I didn’t like about the episode was where in the Castle, after Gabbys breakdown and walking away from Spike, who felt really bad for not telling her. Gabby actually makes sense they have a lot in common and are the around the same age unlike Sparity where Spikes a tween and Rarity’s an adult
Given that MLP started out as a show about friendship that was aimed at little girls, is it really meant to imply anything beyond "friend shipping"?
Just because it’s a matter of principals and all bottle up conbunation doesn’t mean it’s terrible like a matter of principals you guess are worrying over nothing also you guess don’t like all bottle up only because trixie was annoying that how she was written also a horse shoe in doesn’t have a bad lesson like in a matter of principals you guess are worrying to much
Good lord, the grammar and English here are bad.
Trixies annoyance wasn’t the only reason voice doesn’t like “All Bottled Up”. He also doesn’t like the subplot with the Mane six and even considered the “Best Friends” song one of the worst of the series/or season.
They have problems with Starlight and Trixie since season 6, I only hope voice do not call them cancer just like he did to Princess Luna.
I kinda like this episode but after raritys selfishness and greed went to 8/10 to 5/10 the way rarity acted to get him back made me upset she one of my top 5 favorite ponies instead of her telling spike how she feeling she went all full discord in that episode Make new friends but keep discord

Oh dear. Thesbio is going to hate the next episode. And yes, Tabitha was fantastic in this episode!
Relationships (?), am I right?
Been binging Crazy Ex Girlfriend lately, Voice?
ACK poor Thespio 🤣💙💖

2:54
OH MY!
And thus a new ship was born
Rarity is best pony!
send help? hmm....wonder if someone should call in Dr. Wolf to be on standby for the next one.
Or Katie and Sega, with Joey and Bliss for backup.
I'm on Thespio's side
Spike and rarity are a thing and yes spike can be together with her after his molt he’s in his early 20’s plus rarity knows spike still loves rarity and still gets too hang out with gabby I agree spike is the winner

7:17.
Huh..... so your a hypocrite then.
I'm with VoR, this episode sucks
