Bringing up Rick and Morty just makes me think of two things. First is a Parody of My Little Pony where Rarity is talking about Rick turning himself into a pickle and that being the funniest shit she's ever seen. Second is that I actually did buy and experiment with Schezwan sauce from the Asian aisle in my grocery store. So, sure, not the McDonalds shit, but it can really work well. Mostly in the same vein as other Asian sauces, you get the hot and sweet and often very salty too.
