He means that new loopers in mk2 just say "Aaaaa" and creates melodies like that and whole tracks with no type of beatbox skill or good singing or skills.
If you understood this and still decided to hate on the boy bizkit, bizkit is actually one of...if not the most complex looper in the mk1, PSn is also up there, but no one quite has done it like bizkit, he has discovered almost everything that can be discovered in mk1, also having melodic tracks with barely effect just his voice alone, creating various complex melodies, transitions, etc. With just the mk1 that doesn't provide the simple aspect of mk2 just saying "Aaaa" and a whole melody creating itself. Why do you think Robin commented on the video of his battle against Bizkit in GBB 23 that when bizkit was doing his second round at that point he thougth he was going to lose and was just in complete shock in how talented bizkit is and that if he would switch to the mk2 it would be over for everyone cause he actually has a lot of talent and his routine's are complex and hard to do, GBB champ for a reason💀

Now loopers are like DJs, with the difference that they are far behind DJs. DJs are cleaner and have better quality. Previously, the works of loopers were valuable because they used their skills and vocals, and this made them different from DJs. GBB 2019 was the first GBB that I saw. Seeing loopers like you, nme, brez, and rythtmind created a lot of passion in me. And GBB's views of that year also show that it was the same for others. I really miss that GBB and I'm sad that we won't have a similar match in the future.

I completely agree that we need to bring back more beatboxing in the loopstation scene. In my wildcard I didn't want to use any osc bot and I just stuck to a distortion and G2B for the baseline/electricguitar. The only mk2 features that I used were just the assign buttons, the reverse reverb and the sequencer on transpose. AMAZING WILDCARD! I hope you get in ! 🔥🔥🔥

Jawdropping! And execution is on point. Raw beatboxing even without some input effects like Bizkit does it. I really hope that you would compete because I absolutely loved the concept of beatboxing implemented this way!
I kinda agree, i know that the basic loopstation also giving you some effect and non-human sounds. But atleast with only one device it still force you to be creative and force you to be more critical thinking. But i don't hate the new format, it makes the looper more free, they can focus more on making great music. It was 70:30 for me, do i want the one device only hell yes, but do i hate the new format absolutely no. Using second device also taking skill you know, it's also needed some mastery, it was not really a super magic device that can produce sound out of nowhere. Because if that was easy i don't think the old looper will whining instead of using it.

i always thought allowing mk2 and 2nd device in the solo loop category was a mistake, mk2 should be allowed only in producer category, you may be upset with this comment but it is what beatbox-looping is about. For nonbeatboxers, they will be much more interested in listening to vocal looping than using too many effects. Some people will not understand and think that looping is too easy with effects.
