Climbing volcano Acatenango and seeing active volcano Fuego erupting was the most wonderful experience of my travels.
This feeling. This total awesomeness of nature. This is great.
I've been thinking that's probably the best nature experience of my life. I'm so grateful I was part of this. Thank you!

I traveled solo through Central America (mainly Guatemala) for 5 months. I'd love to share how I did eating a plant-based diet while traveling in Central America. I started a vegan challenge in April 2017 and felt happier than ever before. I decided to continue this beautiful journey and I'm so excited for what's coming and to share this with you!

What company did you use? How was it on your way down too?
We went with hostel Wicho & Charlies, which I really recommend! The way down from the top was hard, a lot of dust and sliding down, but an amazing experience. From base camp down it took I think 2 hours. I didn't have shoes with profile so needed hands sometimes because of keeping sliding down haha.

Spectacular! I'm hiking up there next week! Can I do it in my sneakers or is the trail too slippery?
Thank you so much for watching! I did the hike on sneakers which was doable, but slippery sometimes. Especially downwards, I really needed a helping hand a few times and luckily there was :) have lots of fun, it's gonna be amazing!
