      @@nein3533 That's not what I meant. The constant read/writes will degrade the internal storage, shortening it's overall lifespan. SSDs have limited read/write limits and are not rated for the constant strain as RAM is.
      (Besides, 12 GB is already ludicrously overkill as is. Adding more wouldn't help all that much, especially considering dynamic RAM can't be used for all kinds of tasks.)

    My friend, you just called the iPhone 15 as a contender for the 13T Pro. You do realize that makes this phone a veritable winner, since the 13 Pro or the Ultra are supposed to be the real contenders. Also, regarding the pictures, since the cameras are a bit tuned by Leica, you need to play a bit in the pro mode and learn how to manually adjust certain parameters. Same with any DSLR camera, using full auto will not get you awesome results, until you learn to use it on manual. Good review otherwise.

You should consider this 600€phone and far from flagship.

  • @LostTravellers
    @LostTravellers 10 месяцев назад +2

    I agree with your opinion about the camera's. For me, the photos look blurrier outwards (towards the edges) and I think this is due to lower quality lenses. It's not much, but it's there. I also think there is a software problem with the exposurefunction, because very often the camera is completely wrong. The photo is unevenly overexposed or underexposed. Even the PRO setting doesn't always work very well. The setting rings are very sensitive and hard to set correctly. But... What the camera is very good at is night photography and night video. These are about the best I've ever seen on a mobile phone. Other than that, I think this is one of the better mobile phones and offers a lot of value for money (paid €799 for 512Gb/12Gb) ram and moreover, MIUI 14 is completely to my liking.

    Personally, I don't know what you are going on about. You said you were going to explain the Xiaomi 13T Pro's problem but I don't see a problem. Just because it is a 50MP camera instead of a 200MP camera doesn't mean there is a problem with it. From the Note 11 -> 12, there was probably a 15% downgrade in battery life. So I'd expect to be with it +/- 15% unless they did something magical here. I find moderate use vs heavy use seems to barely make a difference on the 12, it makes it about for the day. By the skin of its teeth, always.

      @@instituteofgamin no, the massive lens flare in lowlight is quite annoying and not flagship level. And here in Europe this phone is ridiculously expensive.

    This phone seems overpriced. No 60fps on the selfie camera, USB 2.0 speed, yet it costs 650 bucks. Considering it's Xiaomi, the right price for it would be 400-450 bucks IMO. 650USD is too much. Not worth the price in my opinion.
    It does at least come with a superfast charge out of the box, so that's a plus.

      Great screen, dimensity 9200+, ,4 years of update with 5 years of security and with a good main camera... and you want it for 450$ when its just released? How about from now on we get every companies flagship phones only for 300$ next?
      Wait 6-12 months and you will get it for 450$ anyways.

      @@bestchief_right now I'm using 11t pro. Not gonna lie it is disappointing compared to the 10t pro. It lags alot. Pictures in low light are horrible. I'm a concert guy so I like to take decent videos under the low light. But it's immensely bad in this 😂

    • @TheNightquaker
      @TheNightquaker 11 месяцев назад

      @@bestchief_ The thing is though, what you mentioned is true and all, about the great screen and such, but 13T Pro is not a "true" flagship. It doesn't have USB 3 speed, it doesn't have a flagship-level camera, etc. Those kinda phones are called "sub-flagships", and pricing a sub-flagship at 600 bucks is too much. Especially with competition having much better prices on their sub-flagship phones.
      And yeah, true, it will get a discount very soon I'm sure, but it would've been way better if Xiaomi priced it at 450-500USD from the get go. Would be a much more compelling option then.
