as someone who’s been studying spanish for over 5 years now, the best tip you’ll ever get is to immerse yourself in the language and use it as much as you can! listen to music in the target language, watch shows in the target language, speak to natives, read articles and short stories, write about your day in the language! the more you engage with it, the easier it becomes! 🤍
thank you so much for this!💗I honestly feel guilty when I watch spanish movies and switch the language to english when I know that I should be learning them :") But listening to natives and understanding some things does makes me feel like a genius and want to learn more~
@@hannahs_log What I found useful in this case (when I am sick of trying to improve my language skills in certain language and just switch to English), I just turn on the subtitles in the assigned language. For example when I lived in Portugal all movies in the cinemas are actually in the original language but the subtitles are in Portuguese. So when I was watching the Little Mermaid in English, I was trying to read the subtitles which were in Portuguese and it was really cool because I managed to enjoy the movie (and understand it), but also I felt I have improved my Portuguese. Hope that helps, lol sry for long comment haha
