It depends which mod you are playing. Unfortunately, I found that modding in general is very tricky.

That's because most European kings spend a lot of money and resources to build magnificent castles, plus they need certain buildings to build troops like blacksmiths and others, And those buildings also cost a lot of money, and had to wait to get armor too. So they are a bit slow if they start with little money😀
