    Chandler Parsons goes ballistic in the Houston Rockets game against the Memphis Grizzlies on 1/24/2014, scoring 30 points in the second half by hitting 10 straight three-pointers. Parsons set an NBA record for most threes in a half. He also set the Houston Rockets franchise record for most threes in a game, passing Robert Horry and Jeremy Lin (who both hit 9 threes in a game). Parsons also tied the franchise record for most consecutive threes with 10. Kenny Smith also did that, but he did it over multiple games.

      It's fine if you're a fan of Parsons, but you still have to back up your claim with facts. Parsons is not in the same conversation as the top players in the game. Anyone who denies this is simply letting their judgment be clouded by fandom and bias.

      @akadroopy1 10 лет назад

      okay... but hes not 'underrated' .He's 3 point shooter and that's just about it for his game. All NBA rosters now have 3 point specialists. He's not an underrated player because everyone knows he can shoot.

    • @SolidOcelot
      @SolidOcelot 10 лет назад

      I think for his size and position he's above average at other things as well, I get his 3-point shot is most of his game but I appreciate other things he does for this team. I think he's above average on defense (not saying he's great) which this team really needs, I think he's a good ball handler for his size and position, and usually makes the right decision to either pass or shoot, which is one of the most important things to me. I like his rebounding and passing too.
      I get you 100% this is just my opinion.

    Brent Price (Mark's brother) and Terry Mills hold the record for straight treys no matter # of gms. They both did 13 in the 90s when the arc was shortened to a universal 22 feet. Record still stands and it might be that much harder to break with the current 23'9" arc and 22' sides.

    Man, even though the Rockets picked up Trevor Ariza... they lost the guy that helped get them Dwight Howard and one of their better offensive assets in Chandler Parsons. I think Houston really lost this offseason rather than won. They traded away Lin and Asik and Parsons left being offered a max deal with the Mavs, and Houston couldn't grab Bosh.

      Nana Gyambibi hes been very important the last three games tho. Dallas is paying him that much because they wanted to improve their combined offense, not just the small forwars position. if u add up all the contracts from the startin 5, then they all are defo worth the money

    • @nahor88
      @nahor88 9 лет назад +10

      Parsons is an inconsistent scorer with no defense.
      Ariza is a high level defender with a decent 3 point percentage, on a team that already has the NBA's leading scorer.
      I think we're just fine...

    • @bryangluce

    • @jq7352
      @jq7352 9 лет назад +2

      Bryan Luce Agreed. Chandler Parsons is overpaid a lot, he is even worse than Nicolas Batum. And he got more money than James Harden, Stephen Curry and even Kevin Love is cheaper than Chandler Parsons and Kevin Love is much better than Chandler Parsons if Kevin Love can find him in the right spot. That's a bad sign.

      @seanhetzel8371 9 лет назад +2

      Im a Mavs fan and hes still doing really well, but the reason you didnt hear much from him last year is because he had injuries, and Monta Ellis wanted the damn ball every second and only shot like 41%... so im glad Monta is gone now, and we didnt even get DeAndre:( But expect a breakout year from Parsons this season, hes gonna be the main offensive focus in my opinion

    • @KushDawg8892
      @KushDawg8892 9 лет назад

      sean hetzel hetzel I still like watching him, hopefully he can be the guy for y'all. I still have no clue why Cuban have him so much, other than to snatch someone away from the rockets. He knew we wouldn't match the offer. Parsons is good, but you guys over paid for him.

    • @RUNTHROUGHDATAPE
      @RUNTHROUGHDATAPE 9 лет назад

      sean hetzel hetzel He's always had injuries and as far as the monta ellis thing he played alongside James Harden and Dwight Howard in Houston. Houston's free flow system in which you shoot as many three's as you can and attack the rim at will was more suited for his game. He's still a solid player though.
