The Bills drama is fairly depressing to be honest. Their style of football, Josh Allen in particular, are really fun to watch. The season is more exciting if they're good and are a credible threat to challenge the Chiefs. Hopefully the Texans can pick up the slack and they get some prime time games.
To be fair, the Bills looked better when they had a run game in the 2nd half of the season and Josh stopped forcing throws down the field. Josh really isn't the problem. It's time that he takes his foot off the gas, stops running around (taking hits) so much and starts spreading the ball. Stefon can be replaced. The defense, though, lost some major players.
His production in the second half of the season was abysmal, and they played better when he wasnt showing up. Shakier Cook and kincaid replaced davis and diggs in the last 6 games. I think they saw the drop off and this was a chance to get rid of two years of a big contract.@@gourami7

Why do we put Baltimore on KC’s level? Did they not just score one touchdown at home and never actually lead during the game? No team is on KC’s level, but no one wins every year so I get picking other teams to win. KC do not have rivals lol. They have over half of the possible championships this decade. CJ can be a HoF player and still not ever hold a candle to Patrick. How is this so hard to comprehend? In a year where QBs make or break their legacy, everyone is really quick to give CJ Stroud a piece of the elite QB pie. Year 2 is a very good litmus test for QBs. A year of tape is worth a lot in the NFL as far as defenses being able to prepare a gameplan defensively to stop a star QB. Also, Houston's defense is likely not a top 8 defense.

...How to over analyze. To improve Bills need to change. They are better than most so they don't need wholesale changes. Keeping options open for possibly the best wide receivers draft in years. WR should drop in draft because of other teams picking other positions. Overall depth of high end WR in NFL is currently very high. So many options for Bills at this position now... the only way is up. This Diggs trade will age very well I suspect.

They could balls it up or hit jackpot, I don't know... I made no claims about their competence in the future but they are well placed because of this trade at WR.
@warpeace8891 So they traded 1/3rd of their offense... a guy who forced the opposing teams to not only use their best corner to cover but would also roll a safety over the top to help which would open the field up for the the other receivers and TEs... their best 2 WRs are now guys who both had 600 yd seasons and they're going to be drafting towards the end of the first round hoping to catch lightning in a bottle... We will see if it works for the Bills later this year - not before. 1/3 of offense?...that's just nonsense. Buffalo obviously has their eyes on someone (WR) in the draft. Honestly dude wasn't worth it in Joe Brady's new offence. He also just looked horrible in the last half of the season. Hands weren't as sure and kinda looked slow (which isn't great at his size) I think Buffalo's main problem against KC is late game situations. They always seem to doom them a bit.
You dont think they would consider trading for T Higg?? He is way younger and bigger than Diggs and would absolutely preform as a number one with the Bills, you give him 3 or 4 years and get him in his prime. Not paying a 30 plus reciever for 3 years, they knew they are not gonna pay him at that age and they got comp.
I’m a Bills fan and I hope not. Diggs was super happy in Buffalo at first- I hope CJ gets that honeymoon period from Diggs. He won’t start drama right away- hopefully not at all.
You could possibly work out great for Diggs because Houston terminated those last 3 years in his contract. So it’s basically a 1 year deal and he’ll be a free agent. So to say he got paid is wrong, he potentially could lose millions because I don’t think he’s going to sign another huge contract when he’s 32

Not so easy to replace Diggs production without spending big, he was a huge weapon and right now they don't have much
His production in the second half of the season was abysmal, and they played better when he wasnt showing up. Shakier Cook and kincaid replaced davis and diggs in the last 6 games. I think they saw the drop off and this was a chance to get rid of two years of a big contract.@@gourami7
Yes, but now there’s nobody that’s good enough to double team on buffalos offense.
Dint forget that Diggs was dragging the best CB in the opposite side to open up the field to others as well it will hit them anyways u can't do it just with the QB
Josh isn’t a good enough passer to stop running tho. If he becomes a pocket guy the Bills aren’t going to be a good team
Wilde's is quite possibly my favorite guy on the show. He's Intelligent, hilarious, thoughtful, sensitive and has a glaringly good speaking voice.
What's up with you weirdos and your love for wildes. He's just some dork on TV, who is afraid to go against nicks bs narratives
Yall need to give QB’s more than one year to show consistency. Because Jalen hurts had 1 great year actually way better than CJ. And now boy an after thought.

He has Peyton’s stats with Tom’s ability to win (plus a lot of timely penalties that go his way).
Wat was the reason the chiefs won the AFC championship game Vs the Ravens???? Ravens literally gave the game away 😂they held the chiefs to TOTAL 65YARDS FOR N THE SECOND HALF the chiefs didn’t score a TD since the 2nd Qtr…the ravens had a total of 9 RB carries while being THE BEST RUNNING OFFENSE in the league
I think the Bucs and Bills should just trade quarterbacks. As a Bucs fan we would be perfectly fine with it 😂
But what does Diggs want? More targets than 150? To beat Pat? Cuz that's not happening either way.
I think Diggs is just one of those guys that can never be too happy in 1 spot for an extended period of time. Got nothing against the guy, honestly I get it but that’s what I think
Stroud mvp otw calling it now
Mahomes
Fantastic! Except the league MVP winner has won the SB in the same year once in the last 24 years, and that was Mahomes in 2022. If Stroud wins the MVP he will likely not win the SB, and if that happens then he goes on the clock like Lamar where the story becomes that he was MVP of the league but couldn’t win the SB.

Don't curse the kid.
Jalen Hurts goin off this year. Jalen CJ and Pat top 3 in voting
Comparing Nico Collins to Stefon Diggs is crazy work Brou
Collins went for 1300 last year! and he had horrible stats dragging down his per game figures from the games CJ didn't play. Stef was horrible at the end of last year he's basically washed
Nico Collins is a legit No. 1... I guess everyone just didn't fully know what he could do because he had Davis freaking Mills throwing the ball to him for two years. He's nasty.
@@timocruz510 Nico Collins is not a number 1 receiver bro… I don’t watch Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, Devante Adams, Mike Evans etc, and think Nico Collins belongs in that grouping lol he’s a decent 2 at most.

Don't even know what to say...
Hate to say it, as Stroud is in that elite class of pure thrower like Marino or Mahomes, but has there ever been a player in any sport who was super hot out the gate and didn't have a sophomore slump? Seems like a pretty reliable pattern.
I would argue Mahomes
@@isabellaearnhardt6380 Well he busted out on fire after a year on the bench and his 2nd season wasn't as good statistically as his first as a starter.
He sat his first year behind Alex Smith
Bills will probably take Adonai Mitchell or Xavier Worthy. This team went all in the last few years and now the bill has come due. As long as they have JA they’ll be fine in the long run. We’ve seen big name receivers leave teams and they’ve thrived over the long run.
joe brady ran the ball because its what mcdermott wanted him to do? what sort of insane logic is this. Brady ran the ball because the bills face some of the highest rates of 2 deep safeties and light boxes in the league, as a result IT WORKED? so either his argument is McDermott wanted him to do the right thing despite him thinking he should be fired, or is implying joe brady completely lucked into significantly improving the bills offense.
Before he had Diggs Josh Allen head the worst completion percentage in the league in each of the two seasons before he got Diggs.
He was a rookie and raw, last year he was better without diggs
The goats
Of note, this WR class is deep. The WR4 or 5 this year is like a WR2 or 3 most years
GOOD catch by Brou on Nick avoiding basketball comparison because he'd have to use MJ. 😂 Yep!
Nick can't wait to talk bad about Josh Allen. Why so much hate Nick?
I appreciate The golf reference… if you actually follow golf it was a great analogy
Except that Phil is the clear number 2 when none of the NFL guys can make claim to that
Why does Nick loathe Josh Allen so much?
Because some people say he's as good or better than Mahomes, and Nick is limp-wristed for Pat.
Cause hes the cheifs only competition
The Vikings pretty much did it with JJ selecting him at 23 or whatever, and he was the 5th wr taken. The point is none of these.guys know a thing

He loves talking about the fumble but not mentioning diggs dropping a walk in touchdown 😂 that game could have been different either way
That stat on throws over 20+ yards for CJ & Josh Allen, the reason Allens were horrible is bc he targets Diggs the highest percentage than i think any WR I believe for a couple years, and CJ never targeted anyone more than 18.5% of the time, it was almost equal distribution, a true leader and analytical QB who can dissect instantly in play to make perfect reactions. He will hold a Lombardi one day if not multiple. I bet Allen to Diggs is over 35% if not +40%.

Nick, we love ya, but you’ve lost 1 million credibility points. Michael Jordan is the clear-cut, undisputed, greatest basketball player of all time. It is totally appropriate to use basketball for that comparison. 😂 I digress. As you were.
Nick absolutely lost here. By every metric collins not only is a number 1, he was a top 5 receiver last year, see numbers.
Nick tried to pull a fast one intentionally avoiding the obvious Jordan comparison.
Nick, please take out the stats for games Stroud didn't play/finish (NYJ, CLE) Collins is way better than Stefon lol
Stefon was horrible at the end the year! Nico should be the guy getting most attention. He gets deep downfield and makes big splash plays. Stefon is much slower now and honestly his hands aren't as sure. His Y/tgt numbers in the second half of 2023 were horrendous

Man supports Lamar running but not Josh 🤔
He is anti Lamar. Lamar doesn't rush as much, let it go. that's a false, old narrative.

Brou's Brew: First Things Coffee HEARD IT HERE FIRST
Nick is 1000% right lets just talk about who the 2nd and 3rd best QB is; that's the fun conversation lets leave Mahomes out of it. Allen or Burrow who has the better chance of making the Superbowl? Burrow or Allen who's the better bet for MVP? Herbert vs Stroud who you got for the next four years? What's more likely Herbert wins league MVP or Stroud wins Superbowl-MVP?
Buffalo doesn’t need an offensive minded coach because it has been the defense that let them down in the playoff games against KC. Nick must have forgot the big drop by Diggs in the game. Also reading Allen and Diggs got into it go after the Jets game. It was time for a break up.
Honestly, Burrow being injury prone is a huge reason why I can’t see a rivalry either, and I’m a Bengals fan.
Just have to wait 30 years till the Next Bengals superstar QB at this rate
Get a better O-Line and he'll break less legs.
@@davidc2838 it’s really not about the O-line. The AFC North is just built different. One or two QBs are injured every year. Usually it’s Lamar. Or Burrow. Last year was Burrow and Watson at the same time. This year might be Lamar and Burrow and who knows, Russ could win.
...How to over analyze.
You're assuming those receivers coming out of college are all gonna be game changers... you should know better.
Maybe two will be great... now tell us which two.
@@lakeozarkrei3767 - Quite the opposite... no assumptions from me, only observations. As I already said. NFL receiver depth right now at the high end is very good. I would say I have never seen it better. Diggs is not at the high end anymore and combined with a promising draft the Bills are well placed to improve at this position.
I guess getting rid of half their starting defense of Pro Bowlers and All Pros was a good move as well...
Good luck👍
@@lakeozarkrei3767 - I disagree. They traded a malcontent who was not producing at anything close to his pay level. Diggs has always been a prima donna. I would not want him on my team at any price. Your categorization doesn't make sense. Hope and luck are irrelevant, results and actions are what counts. We will see if it works for the Bills later this year - not before. 1/3 of offense?...that's just nonsense. The only thing Diggs forced is everyone to listen to his tantrums in social media.... good riddance Diggs. The draft is not the only option for finding players. There is 5 months of cuts and trades and juggling of players to come before the season starts.

You dont think they would consider trading for T Higg?? He is way younger and bigger than Diggs and would absolutely preform as a number one with the Bills, you give him 3 or 4 years and get him in his prime. Bills lose Diggs when Jets get Rodgers back? Makes AFC East almost interesting next season.
Imagine if Rashee Rice was on ANY team besides the Chiefs ...
Tell Nick it’s okay to go one day without kneeling before his idol.
