I’m thinking as this war gets hotter and the shipping delays start to catch up with us things will get much more expensive precious metals too. What I’m really concerned about is the government overreach to shutdown small precious metal dealers because I feel the government is starting to loose control and so many more people are starting to buy silver and gold instead of investing in other commodities tied to the almighty dollar. My prediction: I think we're about to experience hyper deflation, and all markets will hit all time lows. Even precious metals. Deflation means the dollar will get stronger which means precious metals aren't going to the moon. Look at gold reserves for all nations, we (America) have the most. At some point the US dollar is going to go back on the gold standard, and other countries are going to also back their currency with gold. I don't think currencies are going to be 100% backed by gold, but it's going to happen at some percent. Lastly, I think putting all your eggs in one basket when it comes to tradfi is a bad idea. Put your money in crypto people. Crypto is going to move our world economy forward. Old practices of flight to safety moves are going to destroy people's finances.
