This rom hack is actually unbelievably inmense, it feels like if the whole game got updated, i'm very happy to see one of the games that shaped my childhood get this much love
I watched (moreso skimmed through until I saw bosses in the preview images) the Meteorz VODs and I remember him saying that Whispy Woods was the hardest boss up to Metal General (though he did finally admit that Magolor was significantly harder)
Its says alot about how well Rtdls bosses were designed when most the changes Mr Dooter, Fatty Puffer, Metal General, and Magolor soul faced, was just speeding up there existing attacks (and fatty not Goriath even by that much.) Edit: also incredibly weird they predicted electric dooter AND the red Magolor background. Honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if Hal had some inspiration from this mod.
