Holy crap. I don't understand why this man makes me smile every time I see him. I don't know if it's the corny jokes or his opinions on life or just because such a unique character like this even exists, but my day is always made when I come in contact with something relating to Reviewbrah. I could be feeling down or upset about just about anything and I know from experience that he will act as a pick-me-up no matter what, and no matter what the reason. I doubt that I'd need to say this but please don't ever change, Reviewbrah, because if I see the day where you don't instantaneously bring up my mood, I wouldn't want to see any more days like it. Thank you for all you've done and all I'm sure you'll do.
Thank you for this video. I'm a 19 year old girl and I wear a tie almost every day. People keep asking me why I dress like a businesswoman when I'm just a college student, I just wonder why they wear tatty hoodies and old sneakers every day. Thank you, for keeping formality alive. Ties will never die 👔
I don’t even wear neckties but I watched all 16:48 of this because I love watching you!! You are truly something special. I can watch anything and everything you post because your look and demeanor is so beautifully lovable ♥️
In the 1970s I sold all of these old style suits so here is some FREE suit info for you (because we like you and your channel): Foremost, always stand up straight (head too) and keep your arms by your sides (never behind your back) especially when modeling (keeps the wrinkles out of the front and back of the jacket). Putting your hands behind your back always causes unsightly wrinkles. If there is a wrinkle where the button is then either move the button/s or taper / tailor the suit in on the sides (yes they did that on older suits, we had a tailor in our store and all suits were tailored to fit). The shoulders should be at the end of the shoulder pad not sticking out or in but just barely there (not causing any lump that you can see). the sleeve should come down to the first knuckle on your hand (I know you THINK that would feel or look odd but it is how the "proper" fit is and when you sit down a little of your shirt cuff will stick out perfectly). The back of the pants should be where your shoe heel meets the upper shoe. The front of your pants should touch the shoe and cause one small wrinkle a few inches up from the shoe. At the price you get the suits, you should really start by buying ones that fit (or have a small bit of growing room but never too small) and you should always have them tailored. At least taper the jacket and make sure the button placement is perfect for you (adjust the sleeves if need be thus too long is better than too short) and tailor the pants always (at least the cuffs). You are very welcome. I knew I would find that knowledge useful someday. When I came out of the USMC (and back from Vietnam) I got a job on a clothing store to build up a wardrobe. After spending all of my money on suits (and we needed suits to work there but at least we got a small discount), it dawned on me that I never wear suits but hey, I learned a lot and then donated all of my suits to a thrift store for guys like you to get for a lot less than I paid. I am sure you will do well in life and in love too. You are one on the ball young fellow!...
As we say in Texas, bless your heart, truly. I've been looking up videos on how to a tie a tie so I can help my boyfriend. However, having it come from you, a RUclipsr I enjoy watching, is just golden. Thank you. Although I don't eat fast food, I still watch your videos because I enjoy your commentary very much. You also have inspired me to dress the way I want to dress and not care what others think. I now only wear black; black shirt, black shorts, black dresses, all black, everyday
I completely agree with your statements about style preference. I myself is a man who adores wearing suits, ties, winged collar shirts, vests, and even polo shirts is always questioned because of my choice of fashion. Because here in the Philippines, it is not normal to wear suits with neckties due to the climate that we have. But I don't really care, because the thing that I care about is what I want to wear. I am a firm believer of impressing your self, not other people.
I've been wearing a half-Windsor since high school. It's the best knot for most modern shirts with spread collars. Glad to see Reviewbrah agrees with me.
Every young male needs to know how to tie a tie. It is important to the continuence of our civilization. I had to watch tie tutorials so I could teach my son to tie a tie, since daddy was not in the picture, so we learned together. I wish you had been around then. Yep, it is getting hot here in Florida and the afternoon storms have begun. Stay well my brah!
Having one of my favourite people of all time tell me how to do my tie at my school since I'm useless and can't do my own tie, I just leave it tied and loosen it. Thanks Review Brah
I agree, a tie does look good with a short sleeve dress shirt. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone that wears the combo is a Mormon missionary. The full windsor knot is my favorite cause of how nice and even the ties looks and feels. I also love solid color ties cause of their simplicity.
I learned the Four in Hand as the "Half Windsor" and the Half Windsor as the "Full Windsor" knot. What I do know for sure is that I prefer the Windsor knot for it's symmetry. Pro Tip: Once you have your tie tied, you don't have to retie it again. Just loosen it up enough to get it off your head and hang it up. Then when you want to wear it again just take it off your tie rack, slip it over your head and tighten it up. I've been doing my ties like this for decades. So long that I forgot how to tie them! :D So thanks for the tutorial I can now get some new ties and tie them.
Who knew watching tying necktie tutorials could be so engaging to watch? I hope @TheReportOfTheWeek makes more of these videos as there are several ways to tie a necktie.
This is a very useful tie tying video, but ironically, that opening shot of tie-less Reviewbrah is the second-best part, lol. He looks like the self-possessed guy you meet while ordering a drink, who turns out to be the most interesting man at the whole wedding reception.
Reviewbruh i must say you are quite possibly the greatest urban gentlemen there is. I admire you in both your mannerisms and your daily attire which are both immensely cultivated. Keeping class alive is undoubtedly your forte
Great video John. I love the more classically formal look of the wing collar but I’ve been hesitant to incorporate them. I think Friday I’ll finally just go for it consequences be damned. Hope you’re having an excellent evening and thank you for the video.
It's 4:48am and I'm watching ReviewBrah teach us how to tie a tie. I love this guy. 💕 If any guys ask me if I can tie a tie, I can say yes. 😁 Thanks ReviewBrah! 😍💕
Alpha M attempts to be Alpha, but he designs his entire style around being attractive to women. ReviewBrah's style attracts women, without that being the intention. There's a difference.
I was having a bad day. Not anymore. Thank you very much, very useful, now I'll be able to tie my boyfriend's neckties. Isnt that sweet.. Greetings from spain

Honestly, I'm attracted to the "businesswoman" look, but none of the girls dress like that on my campus. :(
For as long as Reviewbrah can remember, he always wanted to be a gangster. Goin' In.

I have zero use for this, still watched the entire damn thing. Bless you Sir
A normal chap would have make a tutorial like this in a 40 seconds video, but it would surely not be as enjoyable as this
The video we all needed, but not the one we deserved.
