I read that keeping calcium hydroxide in the canals for long duration can weaken the tooth...is it true

Calcium hydroxide used for operative dentistry and rct. Is it same or different?

For Endodontic we use non setting calcium hydroxide and for operative we use setting varity

Sir thank you for sharing knowledge.....one question as metapex is oil based,it will be difficult to remove in further appointment....is it better to use water based medicament instead...by changing it every week for two to three times.

@@bitradedeepya6985 u can but if we plan to reduce the visit of the patient then oil based is better. I hardly use oil based
