The ‘Quest Capstone programme’ marks the end of each child's time in Middle School. Each learner aims to make a difference in their community through an area of their passion. Learners conceptualise, plan, research their projects and implement within a set timeframe, all while being nurtured by a network of supporters which include a mentor, their family and their peers.
The programme culminates in a community shared event in which each learner delivers a speech and presents their project to a large audience. Ultimately Footprints embodies the statement: 'the journey is the destination'. The reflective storytelling is mentored, supported, and shared with our local community.
These presentations are a rite of passage for all Green School graduates, bridging the Green School experience and each student’s next steps in life.
