Have you ever wondered what happens when an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher all get together? It sounds like I’m describing the start of a good joke, but in fact, in 2020, I launched a new series called 5-Fold Live, where I sat down with one member of the five-fold ministry and unpack how a prophet works in unity with each part of the five-fold ministry to equip the Body of Christ!
In the second episode of the series, I sit down with my special guest Chirs Overstreet of Compassion To Action. Chris Overstreet is a five-fold evangelist whose walk with God is radical and unlike anything I’ve really ever seen before. Listen in as Chris, and I share how a prophet and an evangelist work in relationship together to equip the saints!

As a soul winner, it is vital to walk in the confidence that as you anticipate God wanting to use you, He will give you supernatural gifts to validate your message. Every time signs and wonders are present people will respond to the gospel! If you are sincere in your desire to be used of God, trust that the Holy Spirit will give you instructions and then step out in faith and go with it! When sharing the Lord with a fellow about words of knowledge I told the guy as an example, his name was Jacob Watson and his wife's name was Susan and they lived at 118 Walnut Street. Without knowing it the Holy Spirit gave me that info. and it blew both of us away and the result was he gave his life to Jesus. Believe for signs and wonders to follow you and Jesus will make His name known through you!

I'm so relieved/happy that you guys took the detour into the discussion of the importance of water baptism as a prophetic act and the role that the person's faith plays in the process. I think that this is a critical component of the Christian life that a massive portion of the Church is missing. It is great to know that this revelation is alive and well in the two of you. I love watching baptisms at Bethel on Sunday evenings, but it seems like the people getting baptized have a very wide range of levels of understanding of this revelation, with some seemingly believing that what they are doing is merely symbolic. Because that faith component is such a vital piece of what brings power in a baptism, I would really love to see all of the Church receive this revelation.
Chris, if you are not yet familiar with the group The Last Reformation, I think there could really be a lot of synergy between you and them. It sounds like you guys are on the same page in many important ways.

Curious why Chris suggests starting with Luke? I've always thought John. Also, would love to get my hands on the "Our Jesus Disciple" text that Chris mentioned. God Bless
Why does Chris suggest to start in the book of Luke?
My guess is that part of it at least is for the continuity between Luke and Acts, since they are like parts 1 and 2 of the same book. His recommendation was in the context of helping someone to step into life as a disciple of Jesus, and the book of Acts is great for showing what that looked like for the early Church. I hope that helps to answer your question. There might be more to Chris's recommendation than that, but I suspect that that is part of it.

This is very common and very sound advice. It is an excellent overview of the gospel and much easier to read and understand than John.
Luke in my understanding is that he is the most detailed writer than all other writers.
Chris Overstreet sounds like Corey Feldman.
