how did you remove the coolant connector? it has three e torx screws connecting it to the block but the screw to the left is hard to get to because of the stuff next to it.
Bro please tell me asap how you got that bottom bolt off the flange you replaced without removing the heat management module to the left of it. I have a 540i and tried a 1/4 extension with and without a swivel and still can’t get to it.
@@ChasingGelo I was able to get it off without removing it 😅 it worked with the 1/4 extension. the socket wouldn’t fit completely on there at first but with enough pressure and turning an angle it finally came off. Putting it back on was tricky but still got it done! If anyone tries this just make sure you don’t drop that bottom bolt and I’d recommend when installing it don’t use the same bolt that was at the bottom because you may round it off a little bit
Trash ass design smh and I know the tool is expensive but I already did a water pump on my b58 and the air operated vacuum fill tool makes any coolant job so much easier I bought one from MAC finally
killed it ! Clean 340 ^^
Thanks for sharing. Six months down the line, any issues with aluminium OFH?
Change the gasket to aluminum too
Man are you in the sacramento area? I swear I saw a purple bmw with a pulsar turbo sticker on it 😅

im pissed whats the point of inline 6 when it takes 10hrs ish to do this job
Perks of n55
Gasgets will still fail, not the housing
Indeed, but who knows if I will even own this car by the time it comes, prolly not for another 80-100k miles
Its possible the gaskets are failing prematurely because the housing can flex.
@@tirdkat6104bingo
The housing is what fails. The plastic comes apart, and the gasket pops out the gaskets are not what fails.
The plastic always cracks. Every video I've watched the plastic was cracked. My plastic was cracked and broken apart.
It’s really simple….but a lot of work 😂😂😂
Same with n55 oil filter housing. Simple as can be, just a lot of work, nothing complicated about it.
@@no-uh535it gets complicated when you got some stubborn hoses that won’t come off 😅
Add quad exhausts and quad tips
How about you post the links lmfao. Ridiculous
He using aliexpress and Chinese part my boy, you don’t want them..
