    Love! ❤
Make something out of what you have. Plan ahead, cook based on what is on sale. All great information that I try to instill upon my children. They grew up poor but always had good homemade meals.
Even now, even though it’s just hubby and myself we always cook extra and freeze leftovers in those silicone snack bags, individual servings for myself who works from home, for those nights we’re just too exhausted to cook ,as well as to give to our elderly parents living on social security.
I’ve got soup of all kinds in my chest freezer 😂
Thank you Petrina for sharing your ideas. We can all learn from each other in our crazy inflation times. Ohh and coupons! 😂 I don’t care how much you make, save where you can.

I totally agree! I was raised pretty poor so we are always trying to find ways to be frugal and use what we already have. I love the creativity of coming up with meal ideas based on what you already have on hand. It’s so much fun. I recently started making my own individual frozen meals from left overs. It’s great for when I’ve spent too much time in the garden and just want to heat something up quick.
