Uhhh if you watch the full clip, William explains that it was 2 weeks because Mrbeast wanted to get within the trend. It was the high of Squid Game and he didn’t want to wait too long. And on top of that William said he told MrBeast that the squibs might not be done within the time and he was ok with that AND completely agreed with the large amount of money it’ll take. So no, MrBeast was NOT called out.

The people that "F***ed" them, was a company printing the circuit boards for them. They guarenteed that they would be done in time and hadn't even started 2 weeks later. So they had 1 week left to get the entire project done.
Ended up getting it done by another company (family run and fans of the channels i think) and there were no problems by the end of it.
That company in the end saved the project and I think I remember him saying they are going with that company for future projcts because of the speed and quality of the turn around.
