This is how I remember the Camino del Rey back in the 1990s Truly awesome in every way possible. Sending a big hola to Cristina Cruz Zurita, thank you for an extra special day I'll never forget. Peace & love to all from New Zealand.😎
Not everyone is a daredevil. I value my life, so that walk was a death wish for many. It was just too dangerous unless you were a professional and crossed it with safety gear.
This was real adventure. One oft the best videos I have seen so far of the caminito. What happened with it thesedays is a shame. It seems that the last places of real experience for brave and atletic men must be opened for the normal fat eaten tourist. I feal so sorry.
You don’t know what you are talking about. The old one was extremely dangerous. Are you aware of how many people fell to their death here because it was crumbling? If you want danger go and climb K2.
No need to feel sorry… it’s a safety issue. There are plenty of ways to find thrill… and this is a major tourist attraction. DisneyLand was made for a reason and so was Vegas. They both exist and both have their reasons, the old path had its reasons and now the new path does as well. Very, very few would take the time, prep, and simply getting to learn skills such as the guys in this video… some people are just dumb and they see great videos like this and think they can do it too - so moral of the story, yes, we need safety measures like this so couch to alpine climbers can feel accomplished while the real bad asses are onto the next incredible adventure
I imagine its a big danger that it could break as you can see all the holes. But I wish it would be restored to how it was originally. Would keep the history and still be safe if you used the rope

We were visiting from Australia and did El Camino del Rey in 1979...
Scary, but this is terrifying... 36 years later.
What was the condition like in 1979?
@@jamessmith99731 it was condemned and falling apart.
Theoretically access was closed
In 1979 it was truly dangerous. Beyond scary. Condemned.
The best Camino video ever!
Muchos niños malagueños lo recorrieron en los años 90.Gran video.
You needed to be brave to walk it before 2015; you needed to have tomato-sized balls to built it in 1905.
It’s is dope - great video. Really appreciate your focus in safety and logistics… responsible thrill seeking! Love it!
This is how id have loved to do the Camino. now its just like Disneyland. Great video!

but now its easier to go and safer , i been here yesterday .
They should have left it unrestored. No fun anymore to go there.
No thank you, but I do plan on doing the caminito in 2023. .this was insane before it was rebuilt.
it was not for everyone (obviously), but exactly that was part of the magic.
now it's just another soulless tourist attraction..for everyone.
Mi sento male solo a guardare 🥴😱🤢🤮
Pffft, safety gear.
yeah, it's also called common sense.
have you ever done this route? highly doubt it
Hoi
