Amazing stuff! I’d love to know more about how you create the framework for the head. I’m trying to create a large scale dragonfly and wanted to use this technique for the head!
Jack, I use a jigsaw to cut out a silhouette of the shape with a piece of 1/4“ plywood and then mount a flat piece with a French cleat for the back. all the form is from the cardboard strips
This was so relaxing to watch art can definitely heal and relax your mind. Ending results were amazing great job.

Have you tried using epoxy clay? It’s really good it’s as hard as cement. It dries very smooth with no cracks.
Yes I have I used on some plaster onion masks I hade made. It’s cool stuff!
