Great video, definitely recommend getting a Carafan, we have one installed & didn't get any dust in van doing Cape York. We've done hundreds of kms off road and found Carafan worth it's weight in gold 😊
Yeh its definitely something we are looking into, its just a big price tag we can’t afford at the moment, will see what we can do in the new year. They look brilliant
Great videos and thanks for sharing. Have you considered getting a Caravan installed which creates positive pressure in the van to avoid all the dust getting in. They are a bit expensive, but work extremely well and are worth the expense.
Great episode as usual, we miss Cape York but definitely not the corrugations 😂 I love watching Liam, such a little cutie! Looking forward to the next episode 😁
Thank you! We can’t wait to go back but next time no van and hopefully head a little more remote. Hes a cheeky little boy, he is talking really well now you will see that over next few episodes, his vocabulary skyrockets all of a sudden
Thanks for another great video! What are your thoughts on doing the Cape in 14 days, as that is what we had planned for our trip there for next year. Not enough time? Clem mentioned you guys were exhausted and you had done it in 16. Sorry if you cover this in the wrap up, just haven't had a chance to watch that yet 😁
Depends what you want to see. You could do our trip in 14 days easily enough. If you wanted to see more of OTT and chilli beach and north of weipa it may be a stretch but a highlight teipis very much achievable
Did your caravan come with an alarm or did you put one on afterwards when locking up the van and leaving it? What else would you change doing it next time or your set up? If you wanted to leave your van at any spot and swag it where would you suggest?
We installed the WITI antitheft alarm. If we were to go again i think i would want either a rooftop tent or good camper trailer so wr can get right off the beaten path some more. Bramwell station is a good spot, a lot of bitumen available before then and its a safe secure spot. If you dont want any dirt wither Laura or maybe Hann River, was only 10kms of dirt to get to Hann River
Hmm possibly, i never saw the campground as such but it was definitely a tougher track. There was plenty of clearing at the water crossing not far from it that some others left their van at, would be an easy drive in from there
It’s been great watching your travels as we travel with our dog as well. What did you do with your dogs when you went into fruit bat fall and twin falls ?
Its so good travelling with them, When we did fruitbat they just stayed with the van we wernt gone long and it was nice and cool. At elliot they stayed in the car we just leave the back open for them, its not a NP they just arnt allowed in the falls so plenty other dogs in carpark too. we took it in turns being with them then went for a quick swim together at the end so we could jump in the falls a couple of times
Very easy to watch. Cheers for sharing your travels
Your welcome, thanks for watching

@@Ourwhittleadventure awesome thanks for the tips! Will have to see if we can juggle things and get a bit more time there I think!
Could easily spend much more time up there. But we enjoyed what we got
Looks absolutely amazing up there! Really looked like you guys had a great time.
We did, was such a big ticket item for us and it is seriously beautiful.
Bavk again hopefully with a different set up
Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures! I think you’ll be hosing off red dirt for a while😂
Oh yeh it took a good week of cleaning to get it to a spot we were happy with but it did come up well

Do you think you can get a 19 foot caravan into Eliot falls campground?
Hmm possibly, i never saw the campground as such but it was definitely a tougher track.
