Every atheist alive should see this talk, because the threat from believers who are irrational enough to use violence to maintain the status quo are clearly for real, and we as atheists need to be aware that the threat is out there.
    Forewarned is forearmed.

These tactics sound very familiar. They are the exact same tactics used by the ku klux klan.

Let me clarify, the Christians were using klan tactics.

+John Williams the klan is a fundamentalist christian organization so it should not surprise you that christian fundamentalists act like christian fundamentalists.

Oh I remember the Ahlquist case. That her classmates did that pissed me off something fierce. And another fun RI case was the Creche case in Pawtucket.

His voice is like a combination of John Goodman, Penn Jillette, and Seth Rogen.

It's difficult, being a Crhistian, and trying to curtail the bullshit that your fellow believers constantly say and do. My heart goes out to all the victims of these injustices.

At about the 6:30 mark the information could be applied to the ppp money that churches received during the pandemic. Those lists of recipients need to be made public.

Despite Black's ruling, there have been many violations including faith-based initiatives, teaching of creationism and subsidies to faith-based schools. Black
apparently did allow the state to subsidise churches by providing them services such as sewer, water, fire and police without paying taxes. I think that violates the spirit of the first amendment.

It's not my way to judge the religious by their extremes, though they certainly love to judge us by ours. I wonder where that hypocrisy comes from.

This is a hair-raising video. It is a bit like watching Mississippi Burning.

The evil ones have been to professing Christians. I can't help thinking of their appearance before the judgment seat (I don't believe in this, but the evil ones I mention do) when the Jesus, whom they profess to believe in, judges them according to the Bible they have never read, or never understood.

The problem is that a predominantly atheist society might not be any different. I think everyone is well aware how China, and other communist regimes, took to attempting to stamp out any and all religions by force.

unfair comparison. in china and erstwhile soviet ‘The State’ is/was the religion. What Ed shows here is the hypocrisy of christians. Full of hate in heart and love on lips. Muslims are honest with hate in heart and on lips.
