1:45 they didn’t disband, they’re in hiatus for military enlistment. Block b are actually one of koreans biggest groups (locally speaking, specially when it comes to the digital performance) almost all their songs topped the charts and were hits
if you havent seen jackpot, id really recommend it!! i LOVE the choreo in that song smmmm 11:25 also, tae-il's neck tattoo is a bat! apparently their manager was upset w him for getting a neck tattoo when hes a ballad singer lmaooo
wow, I miss Block B... 😭 obviously its not for everyone, but the euro techno vibe of shall we dance is the sweet spot for me! still one of my favorite tracks, period. it also made me check out the montage mini album, which is *chef's kiss*, and got me into more of their bsides. I'd say Block B definitely falls under that second gen cluster of more performance-oriented vibing rather than dance (i.e., BtoB, B.A.P., etc.), but you've checked out hit the stage, no? so you may be aware u-kwon is a great dancer. and b-bomb as well. the dance line is tiny, but mighty!
13:51 he’s very known for his unique dancing skills, he’s also acknowledged as the best when it comes to his expressions while dancing! he’s most known for his Joker performance in Hit The Stage show, as a dancer, you HAVE to check that out!
They were under stardom entertainment. Eventually they filed a law suit because they weren't getting paid enough. They left and zico made Seven seasons , a label for block b to make music. They're on indefinable hiatus. But they posts videos and stuff together often
Actually they werent paid anything at all, in addition to the label actually taking money from their families and making the members themselves pay for their outfits and living etc., the companies CEO embezzled all that money and ran away. And it wasn’t Zico that made Seven seasons (aka kqent) it was an employee from stardom. All seven seasons people were actually stardom employees who left with block b, so their contracts only “moved” from stardom to 7s managed by the same people. They’re in hiatus until they all finish military enlistment, which is in 2 years (the members confirmed its 2 years)
Apart from the fact that only U-Kwon and B-Bomb are actually dancers, their choreography was never super complex because Jaehyo has serious knee injuries. He's had multiple surgeries and got invalided out the military because of them. The best he can often manage is a shuffle, so the group dancing is limited.
They also have a subunit called Bastarz with members Ukwon, P.O and BBomb and they have a much darker concept (tho some of the b-sides are very soft but it's so good) and Ukwon also released a solo. Bastarz mv + dance practice : - Zero For Conduct - Make It Rain - Help Me Ukwon mv + dance practice : - Fuego
Block B's maknae is currently doing his military service. I think most of them are done with it now. there is some confusion over the lineup, as Zico, left the agency, to form Koz entertainment [now part of HYBE], but did not leave the group. So it is a bit confusing. However they all performed together recently for P.O.'s birthday, [with him in his marine uniform]. This crazy bunch, gotta love em.
9:50 the little girl has here own channel where she does covers and has collaborate with oneus and a lot more idols she also performed at a lot of award shows here name is Na haeun you should rly check here out.
Block B was actually my first ever kpop group, around 2013 (but I don’t know too much about them, I mostly just listen to them) which is so hilarious to me since now my ultimate group is ATEEZ and they are their little brother group 😄❤️ Block B was really popular around that time but they had problems with their company so they left it and joined the Seven Seasons label which is kinda under KQ Entertainment. So their popularity kinda diminished after those problems… BB Trippin was actually “made” for Block B (those dancers are them) and that guy you said is a great dancer is U-Kwon, the lead dancer. He was in the show Hit the Stage and had that famous Joker performance. The other rapper you liked was P.O. and I agree he’s amazing! He is acting as well, he recently acted in Hotel Del Luna! And of course Zico’s attitude is on another level, he is too cool to process 😎❤️ Somebody correct me if I said something wrong 🥰 I definitely recommend Very Good if you haven’t seen it already, I’m curious to see your reaction, and ATEEZ covered it as well! Well, they cover many of Block B songs but I really like that particular version ❤️ I think they covered Yesterday also at their Vlive concert last year? That was also amazing ❤️❤️❤️
I’d correct you on the “their popularity diminished after those problems” because these “problems” with stardom happened in 2011>2012.. they peaked in 2017 so there’s no connection between these two. They didnt join 7s/kq (they’re the same label) they created it with people from stardom ent. as a deal because they couldn’t end their stardom contracts and just moved these contracts to 7s/kq (Kim kyu wook, kqs ceo, was a stardom ent employee).
ooh love me some Block B. Some other great tracks to check out would be HER, Very Good, Jackpot and of course Nilili Mambo (a classic). They've been through some stuff but no one can deny the impact they've made on the industry. Oh and of course since they are by all technicalities under KQ, they have a relationship with Ateez. in fact Ateez has covered multiple of their songs including Yesterday, Very Good and Toy (another great track, albeit a little slower paced). They have said before that they don't consider themselves a big dancing group (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but their choreos for their faster paced songs are still playful 😁
Omgggg did you ever check out TEEN TOP??? They're such good dancers. I'd recommend Miss Right, the MV reminds me of Yesterday (the song is very different but it's also very fun)
Do you think you will ever react to a freestyle dance from Yeonjun ?😊 Bc I would be really interested on your thoughts. He sometimes goes live om Vlive where MOAS can request songs and then he freestyle dances to it. Here is one for example: ruclips.net/video/0A8VXbm1jQY/видео.html

Omg im so happy that people still remember these babies. Love them so much

Ukwon mv + dance practice :

I'd recommend listening to Very Good (ateez covered it on kcon too), Her, Jackpot and Toy
Block b have 3 rappers, zico, p.o and kyung. And 4 vocalists , taeil, Ukwon and jaehyo and b-bomb. B bomb and u known are also a dancer.
More Block b videos please

Block B are great! As for the "guy in the middle" that's U-Kwon and I suggest to check dance practice for his solo Fuego.
Please watch Zico Freak

For BlockB you gotta react to Jackpot, Toy and Her, so catchy and so good!!!!

+ Their 2020 version of To You choreo on 1theK is a must watch!!! They're really really really good
Block B OoOoO 👀
2:25 Does she not look like Park Ji Yeon (aka La Rima from Imitation) to anyone?
10:33 That sounded like something that would belong in a KARD song.
What’s wrong the British broadcasting channel?
🥰🤣
