Vlog | Nepali Travel Couple | Darjeeling | Sikkim | Kalimpong

This vlog covers our short trip to India from Dharan. Dipen studied in Darjeeling when he was a kid so he was keen on going back to see how things were back after all these years. It was my first time so I was very excited as well.
We took an early morning bus from Dharan to Pashupatinagar where we crossed the land border in to India. Darjeeling was our first stop where we stayed 2 nights visiting the local hotspots.
We took a very relaxed approach with our visit and explored the city at a slower pace.
After Darjeeling, we went to Sikkim for 2 nights. We had heard lots of things about this beautiful place and had to include it in our trip. A tip to anyone visiting Sikkim, you need to acquire permits to visit some parts of the state. The permits have to be applied via tour operators and cannot be requested on the day. Visitors need to factor this while planning their Sikkim itinerary.
Kalimpong was our final stop in this trip. We did paragliding near Delo Park. It was our first time doing this and we had a great experience. Our stay here was short but we still managed to cover some of its main spots.
We completed our trip and re-entered Nepal via Kakarbhitta border back to Dharan. This trip was a spontaneous trip which was planned last minute. Despite it being a last minute plan we thoroughly enjoyed our mini break with our parents.
