I wish LTA would order a 2nd batch of Euro 6 A24 bendies so that they can be deployed on heavily-utilized services that has DD-restriction especially for airport-bound services. But given its anti-bendy stance, doubt this will ever happen sigh. Citaros are generally terrible in handling heavy loadings.
Hold up,if citaro are bad for big loans,then feeders during peak hour,especially for those feeders in Pasir Ris,they have citaros as their bus,and a lot of times,it becomes full,especially after school,I take 359 to my school and it’s always full before 7 am

Originally thought LTA night've built an ITH @ ground level in/beside Jewel to replace each terminals' underground bus stops, & designed the ITH to accommodate DDs. Would allow for faster journeys too as the buses would no longer have to stop for security inspections before entering each terminals' underground bus stops
Bendies are the solution to this problem, but now there is an excess fleet of buses which LTA does not really want to use, which takes up a lot of space and no more bendies can fit.
For feeder and airport routes bendies have better flow overall and because of that, I think that entirely replacing the O4O5gs with Man A95 was a bad idea(especially for feeders) they should have at least replaced 30 or so of them with A24
They should run 858B on weekdays too but terminate at Yishun as it will provide connection to MRT. And, SMRT should take back the 10 A24s in SEDEP and return 10 B9TLs to SBST, as well as taking the E6 A22s that are collecting dust in storage to boost capacity.
If LTA ordered Bendy buses, I think they will just give them to companies that go to the airport. If LTA don't order Bendies, Just tell Changi to rebuilt the whole Underground terminal lah

Especially TTS winning Mandai, LTA just gave 1 bendy to TTS, It's not fair cuz if the buses are full, They are like "OI OPEN THE DOOR LAH!" then they complain to TTS. It's not TTS problem, its LTA.
The Former SBS Transit Buses used on this SMRT bus route must be Repainted to the Lime Green livery SG❤️BUS as Not to Confuse the other Current SBS Transit Red/purple livery Original painted buses. I Can Recommend that. SMRT Bus Seriously consider deploy the Older Mercedes Benz 0405 Articulated Bendy bus with the A24 MAN Bendy buses.

I was thinking that the airport-bound services could use DDs for their SWTs (as they don't go to the airport, like many of their passengers as well)

Or use DDs on 858A, since that doesn't go to the airport & thus won't have to be subject to height restrictions

They can put Hispano habit on SVC 858 on weekends as well so there are a few o405G and a24 on 858
Not sure if O405Gs are even allowed in the airport in the first place. The A24s are only approved after quite a bit of testing.

Current 858 have 30 buses which 25 are 12m single deckers,If they can deploy 8 bendy buses,It would help..1:Single 2:single 3:single 4:bendy sequence
