He's not stupid. He knows exactly what he's doing by acting like he want's to still play, knowing full well that his best days are long gone. He's never really wanted to go back, but so long as he can milk the victim image he gets the attention he desires.
We cannot ignore the deliberate self-sabotages he's committed every time the door was reopened for him. He knew damn well that if he got back on a team that his "message" would be destroyed by going back to what he deemed "slave owners." Secondly, he knew he wasn't gonna perform at any high level and just imagining the fallout that would come from him being garbage after fighting to get back in would quickly vanish him as a media talking point.

A team looking for draft picks should let him start. He'll get his bell rung and spend a bungh of time looking out his ear hole. And then, he'll be done.

The protest had nothing to do with the military. Besides, those who serve fight to defend the constitution and our freedoms, not to defend a flag and certainly not to force people to stand for America’s theme song.

This is what I am saying. You can't force people to hire you if they don't want you or need you. Owners have that right whether you like it or not. Kaepernick has ruined any chance of ever coming back to the NFL. He needs to go away and hide from the public. He is of no use to anyone now. I am tired of hearing his name. I am done with him for good.

If I lost my access to do something I had trained my entire life to do and I lost it for frivolous reasons, I might pine for that team for sometime.
Kaepernik was forced to be something he never intended to be. And then he was punished for being it. Eventhough what happened from what he did has proven him to be right.
I hope 10 or so years from now, we look back on this and wonder WHY this man was made a villain for a simple, innocuous gesture. A gesture, ironically, that had been sanctioned by a service man.

Go ask his girlfriend why Collin "Lost his access" to "what he loves". It's almost like he wants to go back to the plantation as he called it in his Netflix twisted reality, but if he did, his whole playing the victim scam would be exposed. Just keep simping for a guy who wasn't very good at football to begin with, but then he realized it so he went the sjw racist grift route because his girlfriend told him to. Mabey he should stand up and be a man for a change, tell his nutball girlfriend to go fly a kite, and then be the real honest Collin who follows his real hopes, his dreams, and does what he really wants to do.

Jarrett Stidham. Davis Mills. Desmond Ridder. Easton Stick. Brett Rypien, etc. the amount of backups that have started in the last year is crazy. In his prime Cap was way legit. His last year, the Niners had the 31st ranked WR core. The O-line was 32nd. He still threw 16 touchdowns to 4 Interceptions in 12 games. 12 games because they wouldn’t let him play until he waived his injury guaranteed contract. He literally showed more with less talent than Jordan Love. Yet in one year that guys a pass. You really need to look at the era of the Niners to understand the Cap situation. The OC left Harbough. Replaced the HC spot with a guy that was not qualified, and a one and done. If you don’t let him at least complete while garbage backups are allowed to represent billion dollar organizations and playoff chances . You’re just not being honest. He was a franchise quarterback Ten years ago. He can win games today, with the Browns, Raiders, Giants, Vikings.
