I've been with my partner/husband before same couple marriage was legal. 51 yrs. I think the #1 thing that we've learned is to listen. Truly listen to what each other is trying to convey and ask questions if you don't understand. We've had our very very high times and some very low times too, but we both know that without each other we'd be less than whole.(psst.. Plus we know to much about each other's secrets.. (At my age blackmail isn't an option.) 🌈Don't stress the wedding, when we were legally allowed to wed, our families and "extended family" were so supportive. Remember it's only 1day, the first step from 'me' to 'us' in the eyes of the world. Enjoy it.. 🌈
