Honestly, my favorite parts of these Worms videos is when they just talk about random things. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to research things like Tobey Maguire's poker controversy, but these guys managed to make that topic interesting and engaging just by talking about it casually.

The original people who made neopets weren't scientologists, but the investor that bought the website was. I believe it has since been sold to a different, non-scientologist company.

Well, in all fairness, Chilled at the very least doesn't know much about the legend of Sonichu (as seen in the last Worms video, where one of the worms was also named Sonichu and he didn't understand the reference).
As for the others, I think they know but not nearly as much as Smarty, so it's not so much them ignoring the references as it is they literally don't get them.

I don't know if you are interested but the people on Pixelmon are adding an easter egg allowing people to voice pokemon of their choice(if they name that pokemon your name). I would find it funny if you would voice Noivern. You could make him say 'I'm super Hela legendary' and 'I'm Chaw-ri-zard' plus Noooivern.
