I used to work in Wallingford, close to Neil's. My boss would bring in donuts from Neil's on Saturday's. Those amazing donuts were the best incentive for us to be working on Saturday's. I'd even go as far as to say that Saturday was my favorite day to work, simply because I knew that my choice of Neil's donuts would be my reward for arriving early. I've tried many places in many cities, states, and state fairs since then, and no one compares to Neil's!

Great review as usual Daym! Just found you on RUclips and didn’t realize you were from CT! Me too! Keep up the great videos, you’ve got such a great personality. Neil’s is the best! I was born in Meriden and my hometown is Wallingford CT, so I saw this and your Ted’s steamed cheeseburger review and I was psyched. If you want another great steamed cheeseburger, K. Lamay’s, it is also in Meriden and the owner was actually taught by Ted himself from Ted’s steamed cheeseburgers. But I use to live right around the corner from Neil’s and went to high school right around the corner at Mark T. Sheehan. Neil’s is great, any doughnuts they don’t sell they give away to the schools, we would have raffles to give away boxes of doughnuts to classes who could guess the trivia question of the week right, kids want doughnuts in general but from Neil’s! We never moved so fast to do good in school for that one question, and whoever won got to brag to the rest of the school, it was great! Just to get that Neil’s doughnuts mad Friday extra special in school! They also give the rest of the doughnuts not sold, away to the homeless shelters, they make sure nothing goes to waste. The owner and bakers are in early every morning, you can see the lights on at 3-4AM. You should’ve got a cinnamon roll!! The lines are usually out the door, 2-3 times as long as you saw, if you get there early enough you can see the true selection of everything they have. Wallingford has some great food places, a lot of chains as well, but a lot of great original food places. Especially Pizza, Hometown Pizza in Wally World is great. But this man is not kidding, Neil’s Donuts is absolutely amazing, I’ve had other great doughnuts from other towns and states but nothing beats my hometown, Neil’s Donuts baby! You gotta go back and give that cinnamon roll a try, they’re big enough for 4! Easy! Their egg n cheese is also deceptively good, but they run out of bagels so quick, I like mine on a bagel but their hard rolls are also amazing :( definitely get down their early with some family and friends and go to town, they have so much more than just the awesome doughnuts, but those doughnuts, yeah just amazing. You truly expressed how awesome Neil’s Donuts really is. Thanks Daym, keep up the great work
