Just need a 32-48kg now to complete the set. Lead filled upper that allows us to just use weights from our existing 12-32kg adjustable bells to run up to 48kg.

Is this concept proven? I've seen the tungsten used to get competition sized bells up to the 56kg+ ( Steve Cotter ).
      48kg adjustable would be something!

@@cioran1754current comp bell weights above 32kg have to use some sort filler and I’m 99% certain it is lead. The trade off is they close that little hole in the bottom

    • @coreymartin6363
      @coreymartin6363 2 месяца назад +4

Geez, 48Kg is a lot. I use them daily. My goal was 100 swings/day for 2024, which evolved to adding Get-Ups and counting each as 10 swings. Turned out, 100 swimgs isn't really all that many and my goal changed to 50,000 in 2024, now it's 100,000. The biggest challenge is to find the time to do the whole thing, exploring other calisthenics and stretches, trying to release my psoas and fix other issues exacerbated by the fact that I use a shovel for hours every day.
Anyways, I use a 20Kg, 25Kg, and a 36Kg, based on what I'm doing and what feels safe and comfortable. I keep one of my 20Kg bells in my work truck and will do a couple of sets during the day, but I like to get a proper warmup with better core activation and awareness than digging provides. My excuse for still struggling with the 36 (80lbs, more accurately) is that I'm very tall. I've only been doing it regularly (after a "break" of...15 years and a bulging disc last year) since December (April now), so hopefully I'll keep improving.
Whatever, keep up the good work.

You have truly thought it out in terms of cost/benefit ratio, portability, and overall benefit to a large demographic that sorely needs products and programming for their deconditioned state.

Love what you do Mark - I’m old , I travel a lot and I like to train with a fairly light bell - you have convinced me that a ‘heavy’ club would be a great addition - please make the weights the right size so they can work naked on a club as well as inside the bell so I don’t need to carry 2 sets of weights, just bell grip and base and a club grip and spindle using the same set of plates 🙏

It's equipment and training protocols like this which may allow the greatest number of people to make progress in the most important phases of their training.

Different body proportions: Hi Mark, Boyce and Shoenfeld in their book - Science and Application of Body Type Specificity: The Science of Lifting and Levers/Strength Training for all body types - illustrate adjustments for people with different proportions. Would shorter arms (which make pressing easier) actually make certain kettlebell/clubbell exercise impossible or need modification? Could you do a video on this perhaps using different people as examples? Thanks

Just received my Mark II KB, which looks and feels great - but no tools were included?! The only other thing in the packaging was a silica gel pack. Fired off voicemail and email to BoS but no reply yet. None of the hex keys for my bike fit. Am willing to purchase my own hex key (after which I assume I can use any wrench to remove the nut inside) but don’t really want to tote KB up and down the aisles of Lowes in search of the correct size. Looked in vain on BoS website for info on hex key. The video says tools for Mark I and II are interchangeable. Can anyone kindly advise me? Oh, and I am a retired woman so please don’t speak in tool code 😊.

Great product, but I’m still looking for a quicker changing KB for my needs, and something in LBs instead of KGs.
Could you work with Bells of Steel or another company on something like the PowerBlock adjustable KBs, using a magnetic Selector Pin, but make them look like actual KBs, instead of weird triangles?
Would love options from 10-75 lbs.
    1) Small: 10-20 lbs (2.5 lb increments)
    2) Medium: 20-45 lbs (5 lb increments)
    3) Large: 50-75 lbs (5 lb increments)
Ideally, I’d also prefer the options of:
    1) Urethane covered KBs (at least as an option or an upgrade)
    2) 2.5 lb magnetic weights for the Medium and Large KBs (to micro load when needed)
Really think these are worth looking into, especially with your input on design.
