Great video! I’ve had the same concerns too as I am also an electrician in manufacturing, and I’m constantly drilling holes and accumulating tiny metal shavings and dust.
I love my ram mounts. A huge parts catalog to allow a ton of customization. Glad to see you back again. Hope the new house is still treating you nicely.
It’s definitely a great product. I never worry about my phone while I’m riding. I’m planning on doing a video this week to say where I have been working for the last year. Thanks for watching and commenting Brother.
I just use a magnetic charge cable so the adapter stays in my phone and blocks anything from getting into it and then when I need to charge my phone I just pull out the cable and it connects via a magnet
perfect video for me. I'm also an electrician and studying up on rockfroms before buy for my bike! Thanks for the input.
Np just be careful of the metal shavings and the magnet. Thanks for watching

I love it for the motorcycle but definitely find a way to keep your charge port covered. Thanks for watching

Ibew Local6 / San Francisco , love the Rokform lineup. Been using them since 2014 !!

Holy cow never would have thought about metal shavings into the charge port. I think that’s a solid idea, like a little trap door.
It definitely can ruin your day!!! Thanks for watching hope all is well with you.
Great info. Thanks for sharing
No Problem. Its a problem I have to stay aware of every day at work. Its to the point I may switch covers when I am not riding
I’ve heard good things about the Rokform. I’ve been using QuadLock for a while now. Some great ideas that you presented!
Thanks if it only saves one phone lol
Damn! I never thought about the magnet on the back bringing metal fragments in the charging port… it might not be a god idea to get.
If you are around metal chips be careful. Thanks for watching
Hey Carl, check out the Ram Quick-Grip. Much better than their X-Grip. You can build your own setup!
I will check it out. Always open to new things. Thanks
Some good advice Carl👍
Something to consider. But I still love it
Good to know.
Expensive lesson learned 🤑
Hey Carl how strong is the magnet? Will it stay on during highway speeds
It locks in the clip and has super magnets in both pieces that end up locking together my phone is not going anywhere im 100% confident in my mount.
I've had metal shaving material in my Rokform magnets for so long it's starting turning rust colors 😂
Lol. I still love the case even with this issue. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Take a old charging cable snip it and put it in the charging port to block the whole 6:40 6:40
Great Idea. Thank You. Thanks for checking out my channel much appreciated.
Electrical tape??
Probably a good idea
Want a magnet or not??
Yep
Never leave a 800 buck phone laying around
So true
