One of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard.
i love how the tunes communicate with each other at the beginning , it's like children playing together
This piece was written by John Surman, about the part of the U.K. he comes from. "Kernow" is "Cornwall", in the region's traditional language. Beautiful version, only heard the album one before this :)
Shivers down my spine...
BRILLIANT

It sounds like John Surman is playing bass clarinet, not saxophone, on this piece. That's also what's he's playing in that cover image.
Correct.
Surman is playing bariton sax. I think.
He plays both, but on this cut, he's playing the bass clarinet.
you might have already found it. there is a cd called thimar.
And it's one of the best world-fusion recordings ever made!
Is this available on CD? Thanks, Great Music!
