That’s not steep, I take my grocery getter up steeper hills and my gladiator would crawl over top the renegade desperately trying to climb that slight incline
And u do realize that the renegade has extremely small wheels, shocks, and everything for being off road it ain’t hard to fully extend something only meant to take speed bumps
I was like wow this is amazing as we had one of these struggling to get over minor axle twisters a few years back when doing a mountain pass, then I look at the plant growth and realised its steep but not as hectic as it looks. Well done though.
They could, but their stupid drive train protection electronics severely hamper what they're capable of. In sand and snow when the tires start to lose traction the system cuts power and fu**s you right in the face. We've been stuck in situations where most 2wd cars could have plowed onward. If it's on a grippy surface it's fairly capable within reasonable expectations, but once the tires lose grip, you're screwed. (2016 th teraflex lift, eibach springs, and 28" tires)
The Renegade is a real Jeep. It's all owned by FCA so the " fiat " argument doesn't really matter. The Renegade can climb this clowns using tires with no treads.

The thing is how do you gain that much traction without flipping over If you have enough power to push the car up it has enough power to flip it over and how did the bottom not scrape the top of the hill???
I thought it was a weird camera angle like everyone else but when he goes back down and you can see his tires slowly levitate as he slides down you can see it's legit.

Not bad but that rock has the grip of sandpaper. The fact he could stop on it says much about the angle and traction. There are mtn sides here in TN where the best you can hope for is pump your brakes a bit in the straights and if your lucky you are only doing about 40 at the bottom.

What a douche thing to do. Quit rotating the camera to make it seem more steep.

you just can't tell cause this guy is bald!!!!
27° more like it, still not bad... For what they are..
I have a 30° slope beside my actual driveway i traverse in my jeeps . Lol.. (have slope meter)
