i'm not even exaggerating when i say i ascended. i was literally floating in a different dimension while listening to this album.

The Slow Dancing music video is actually so sad because it's about Taehyung creating and programming this imaginary world for himself with imaginary friends, where he can be happy and forget about whatever heartbreak or loneliness he's experiencing in reality.
This album is a game changer. We all knew Tae was going to release magic, but GOT DAMN. His voice is like a warm carress. "D-Day" has had my soul in a chokehold since earlier this year, now here comes Taehyung: pulling my soul away, running it a warm bath, and feeding it chocolate-covered strawberries. I'm DONE.
After moments like this, I find myself wondering what my life would have felt like without BTS and their members. It would have been so much more dismal and vanilla. God, I love how each member has enriched my life and what it means and feels to be human.Truly, a blessing.
So unbelievably proud of Tae Tae. And yes the sequence of songs tell a story as well as the MVs. Tae is such a storyteller and that boy has SOUL. looking forward to his full album which he already mentioned to be on its way. 💜💜💜
to me, is a progressive narrative:
it starts waking up on a Rainy Day, all full of memories, he tries to distract himself
it don't work, so... Blue
then he whimpers inside the cave of his 💜 unconformed with non-reciprocal love, very lonely
then he creates a sunny and multicolored world as a scape from his reality and there are several friends wearing crowns because everyone is himself in his illusion of adventures and fun
finally, he asks "please, let me tell you something before this layoVer time is over, come soon"
But I thought this was the full album...

Taehyung's voice is just so calming. What a great album
what i love most is the interesting / unique note progressions -- when he sings "blue, blue, blue", "love me again", "remember how i used to make u laugh the most"... u don't hear such combi of note progressions often! so refreshing... so rich... so decadent..
when listening to layover on CD or streaming, i think Taehyung deliberately made sure there was hardly any pause / silence in between the tracks (unlike some songs that have a few seconds of nothing at the end of a song), so it felt like listening to ONE WHOLE SONG throughout... and it flowed so perfectly OMG -- like 6 different parts of the same song!
Tae is in his own lane..vibing...quietly unique...it takes great confidence to stay true to himself...❤

Jazz music with a big instrumental focus isn’t usually my thing, I honestly have never given that kind of music the time of day before. But with tae (&honestly all of BTS), they’ve really opened my mind up to different kinds of music I otherwise wouldn’t have tried. It’s helped me gain a new appreciation for different genres. Layover is just so GOOD. And you can tell he put in so much work, this album is so HIM. For Us is my favorite!
Yes the transitions from song to song is perfect. Tae wanted us to listen to the album in order. It's intentional.. such a story teller! I love the whole album so much. As we just added while we were in stationhead with tae, it's SLAYOVER!! 😭🫂💜

Shoot for 17 mins 38 secs this album has me dancing with my eyes closed in my room. I love it plus it sounds amazing in the car, the transitions are flawless.
I love this album for its simplicity; it's great music, great vocals ... music I can cook dinner to while sipping a glass of wine; and then let it repeat while I eat; run my bath water while I get my wardrobe ready for work the next day; it doesn't make me want to do any choreography, there's a time and a place for that. I can vacuum, dust, or bop along carrying clothes to the laundry room; if my husband walked up behind me and engaged me in a slow dance (intentional title song drop) ... this is perfect music for it! I am 50 yrs old and I don't necessarily want all the exciting blood pumping music all the time. These are exercise cool down songs; hanging out in the backyard with my girls and glasses of rose. Thank you V for the grown and sexy vibes!

There's only one word to describe V's album, MOOOOD. Layover, from Rainy Days to For Us, is one continuous sonic brain massage. Tae's honey caramel voice on these chill jazz, light R&B tracks put me in a complete state of pure relaxation. I close my eyes and feel myself being carried away. Perfect EP to fall asleep to.

Blue Jeans Loui be looking good 👀. The whole album is a vibe, my fav is definitely Slow Dancing piano version. You mentioned Lofi....Have you heard the Lofi version of Seven? I like it better than the original lol. They released like 7 different remixes of Seven, I like the Lofi version the best. Also in case you don't know, JK has a Spotify episode that I don't think you saw yet. Both his and V's episodes are fun.
I didn't even know that I had a thing for rnb/soul/jazz genre until this album. I got emotional for no reason and I surprised myself because I am Jimin bias but I prefer V's album and Jhope's album and now I don't even know what genre is my favourite anymore. BTS ruined me wth😂
