My dad was a career cop, and he used to say that beyond all the employment tests for the job, the main question should always be "Do you care about people? Would you take a bullet to protect even the most heinous person you can imagine? Because that's what your job description as a cop sworn to protect and serve means." Even when he had to arrest people, he saw it as helping them before they hurt themselves or others. Myself, I'm a preschool teacher and in our profession, we think of ourselves as educarers because it's about the whole child not academic disciplines (at least ideally). Wouldn't you know it? California has finally decided that all grades need socio-emotional and play-based curriculum! We developmentalists have been screaming that for decades.

A Mercury retrograde in Virgo IS a bit much. Esp that Virgo is ruled by Mercury and not only is Virgo schedules, communications, appointments and DETAILS in general, it is also rules (she said with authority) 6th House of health, co-workers and daily routine. Yikes.

Mercury retrogrograde is kicking the door on the way in for me...I had a call center nightmare 😩 I was at an ATM and it ate my card AND all the checks I was depositing AND! The screen froze with my account on it-- so not only did I have to call the bank right away, but I also had to stay parked at the ATM to keep anyone from coming up to it and possibly getting into my account! All I can say is I'm glad it was a drive through ATM and not a walk-up, because I got to sit in my AC'd car for the hour that I was on the phone. 😂

My 77-yo husband laid off in June (wanted to work till 80), is beside himself. We have retirement funds but will have to cut back BY HALF! Huge challenge and he’s being hard to deal with. Very emo. Me Gemini with Cancer rising, he Cancer with Aquarius rising. Challenge of a life time. Dealing with burocracy on health care, so no pressure….you’re right on the money!
