Trying to find an answer to this question as it's not really made clear in the advertisements or RUclipsrs reviewing it - Using EF-S lens on this, will it crop the image resolution down like on the R/R6/R5 or will it maintain full resolution on the sensor? Would like an R7 to replace my 70D but the 90D is more attractive if the R7 crops in.
Finally something that I can upgrade to from my canon 80D. Wow man, what a camera. I am just curious to understand how it will perform under low light. I am guessing it should at least be able to have good images at ISO 3200. Lets wait though for the full review.... Excited.....😊😊😊
@@karthikr177 anything can be worth it to different users or not. the sensor on 80d was similar to m50, old and crap. even iphone 13 beats them in low light. you can search youtube.
@@truthseeker6804 Phones look stupidly good in reviews, but when you actually use 'em, their photo quality is garbage, especially in low light where they're just blurry messes. Don't get me wrong, what phones do with their fingernail sized sensors is incredible, though they can't compete with dedicated interchangables.
Thanks. Crazy and advanced AF techs added to this new APSC bodies. My 90D & 200D can't compete or compare . Hope Canon will come out with a successor for the bridge G3 X (24-600, F2.4-4, 20MP 1" Stacked BI, built-in EVF) with the latest AF techonogies.
Oh no. What a crap built the Cannon. If the R7 is supposed to be like the 7D, where is the shoulder display? This is what the R7 looks like, like an R6 with APSC senso and slightly different buttons. Why not take a good system and make it mirrorless. I switched from the 600d to the 80d myself and love the shoulder display

Oh my god. I wanted to change my R6 for a R5, because I like to crop. Better idea to buy a R7. Congratulations Canon, A STAR IS BORN!
why would you wanna go from r6 to r5 and r7? just curious
Looks great! Hoping to get my hands on one as soon as possible😁

EF's lenses were made specifically for Canon'a crop cameras, so it should maintain full res.
pre-ordered!! really hope Canon will ship earlier... =)
What is the price in AUD?
About $2200-$2500 depending on retailer
Is there any camera for vlog and content creation like Sony zv E10 which can shoot 4k ."?
yes the M50MKII or the G7X MKIII...
Why Not Full Frame Tho ⁉️
Because it's part of their APS-C lineup. They already have many other full frame R series cameras.
Why ruin it with such a short buffer?
Excited, well done Canon!

Probably crap considering its a Canon apsc. Canon 80d user here as well
@@momo_the_great6969 80d was crap from the start. 90d and m6 mark 2 were the only reasonable canon apsc cameras.
@@truthseeker6804 somehow my 80d was worth every single dollar I put into it

Aren't thry at 3:2?
