Great shots! How does the original capture footage look? Thinking of the same analog to sdi conversion with prores capture setup for my 3CCD ENG camera. Previously tried "portable" DVCAM and DVCPRO50 decks, but relying further on heavy, obsolete devices/media is quite tedious.
Not to a computer but a monitor/recorder. It is recorded with a Black Magic Design Video Assist. That's all in the comments. Apparently no one knows where that button is yet to read it! Everyone make some effort, agree?
@@videotaperetro1126 Is there some kind of sarcasm in your answer? Just asked a question, because I didn't get it clearly, if the material was first recorded on a tape and then transfered into an AD converter, or it was captured directly with some digital device.
@@martinmannik Sarcasm was not my intention, rather a wink. So written directly to a digital device. I can't say it more clearly than I already did in the comments. If you want you can download a direct digital file from my google drive. It is in prores hq. So the link is in the .... comment.
Amazing resolution and color reproduction!
I was hoping it looks retro but it looks very modern up to date!
Je merkt wel dat alles een klein beetje minder scherp is, maar logisch voor een camera uit 1992. Interessant om te zien.

I made a link to a piece of original recording in the description. Keep in mind that it is PAL 50i.
So the footage is not recorded on tape but directly through AD converter to computer?

Looks good, and there is no halos!
Were you expecting halos?
@@videotaperetro1126 No, it is just amazing for the time (1992) that the quality is so great
How do you record on this camera? How do you transfer it to pc, and how do you upscale resolution?
