I have been searching for an in-depth video on Filter actions for a long time. Thank you. I often have issues when I want the filter action to navigate to a Detail Dashboard. Where manually adding what fields to filter on cause errors where that field is not recognized in one of the visuals. Do you have any tricks for this to get tableau to recognize a field it needs in the visual without ruining what the visual needs to look like (such as trying to add it to detail and it breaks up your bars or creates a scatter)

That's a great question. I think there may be a couple ways to do this, but it sounds like a set action may help instead of just a plain filter action. I'll try to come up with some scenarios for demonstration.
