- Bhutan contributes nothing to climate change, but is struggling with its consequences. Glaciers are melting, the monsoon rains come irregularly, drought and floods are destroying crops. But the country is fighting the water crisis with bold ideas.

The people of Bhutan, who earnestly protect their cultural and natural heritage, deserve every help we can provide.

Well recognise West Taiwan first
The most important point of these environmental videos is this: water shortage is all over the world and it seriously impacts food production all over the world. There is no one country that is immune from this problem.
I live in Australia a country also dry and short on water, the key is to increase storage capacity, ie, larger and more water tanks , that way when it rains it is collected and saved. Every roof is a potential water catchment and many people now have water tanks beside their houses and sheds.
They have water tanks but because of water sitting for long periods it becomes stagnant and bacteria breeds and becomes undrinkable that is the issue.
I live in Russia and I dont understand what are you talking about. Need water - open a tap.
@You Tube
And your solutions are genocide and destitution?
Thank you for the important information. But I have watched the news that Sydney is flooding.
One day I will visit BHUTAN, that is my dream (from Sri Lanka) 🇱🇰

its sad because bhutan is the only country in the world that is carbon negative
But it's also underdeveloped.

Boycott their products. I do.
This type of story is so common you should just have a placeholder title that says "Another country threatened by climate change".
It should be called “Genocidal country threatened by climate change”
......"and then there's the elephant's" 🐘
Point is?
Point is, they stealing bananas. Do you want your bananas stolen by an elephant? Exactly
There are 30000 elephants across subcontinent we must strive to increase one more 0 in their population.
Coastal countries better expedite the purchase of desalination units.
@You Tube There are other people already settled further inland.
Nope, but we need more mental institutions for people that hallucinate, like you for example
@You Tube Yes, we need to control population growth in developing countries and overconsumption in developed countries. Although this has been known for a long time, we aren't doing much. If only we muster up the will to do half of what we already know, we would be in a better place.
Imagine the cost.. 🥶
@@Sam-nb8ev Actually, the world population will see a very dramatic decline during the second half of this century. And that will bring all sorts of problems.
Sadly there is droughts everywhere including in the Western United States. It’s terrible. We have got to start to reserve our water supplies. Build water catchment systems and so on.
We all just need ro do our part to lessen the carbon dioxide emissions.
OH YES ANIMATION IS THE BEST EVIDENCE
Climate change panic porn.
Storage!
If we look at how green the vegetation,. Can they just build proper water infrastructure.. 🤔
All races are present.
But their cultures are suppressed. Only one culture is allowed to showcase.
Elephants need water also !!!
Now I've heard it all! Climate change is causing elephants! LOL🤣.
Guanghung Lo.
What did you mean, when you said, "causing Elephants" ?
So beautiful and pristine place…we ned urgently to support, protect areas like this🌎🌱💚🙏🏻✨
They need to get up to speed on capturing water so it isn't contaminated, indoor plumbing & sanitation services. Modern hydro infrastructure. Build a damn if you need to or drill down & fill an aquifor. The days of getting water the old fashioned way may have worked at one time, but this is a new climate.
Build sand dams.
and their people aren't allowed to leave 😃
Have you ever been to Bhutan,
Do not say a word, without any correct information,
India stands with Bhutan to combat every climate change disasters.
2:04 Why aren't they riding *INSIDE* the car? Lol.
Bhutan is such a lovely country (I've only ever seen on the internet!). I would love to visit (in person!).
I just wish you weren't required to have 5:39 government minders taking you from village to village in scripted and carefully overseen scenarios!
I'm glad they now have internet access and many cities are flourishing, but I also hope the rural communities and towns can grow and see some of this tourism wealth lead to technological and wise industrial change!
I love that Bhutan cares for their forest and native nature; I also believe Bhutan could be a major contributor to hydropower and use those profits to help the monarchy and the individuals.
Bhutan did genocide
in my village many women wasting so much water without any reason, how to stop them?
theres a easy solution for these kind of problems world wide
1) throw nuclear missiles in every country so that vast areas become unaccessable to humans
2) let nature take those areas back for the next 500 to 1000 years just like in chernobyl
3) more trees= more co2 recycling nature style = more cleaner oxygen
4) more wild life diversity thats undisturbed
you could say, thats a win win situation :D
Survival of the fittest. Sounds like some post-apocalyptic movie to me.
Globally CO2 emissions have increased by 65% since the Kyoto Protocol in 1992
Population needs to be in balance with jobs, resources, nature and the environment. Having a bigger population in any country than the country can support makes no sense. Access to food, water, shelter and jobs should guide population levels. The worlds population is still expected to add another billion people to feed, clothe and produce pollution. Humans are crowding out all other species of plants and animals. Education and birth control are key to reducing poverty and hunger. Having a child that you can not provide for yourself is cruel and irresponsible. We need solutions not just sympathy. Endless population growth is not sustainable on a finite planet. Every country needs to "TRY" to be more self sufficient. When there are not enough resources to sustain a population something has to give. Countries need to focus on quality of life for their citizens and not just quantity of life for cheap labor.
Bhutan doesn't have an over-population problem. Wrong country!
@@shauncameron8390 Bhutan can simply do ethnic cleansing, no problem with population.
