These two metal heads taking their very best to the Throne of the King of Kings. That's the way to sing "Christ is the Lord!" Like an earthquake! These two geniuses! Merry Christmas, Joyeux Noel, Feliz Natal, Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale, God Jul!
Using the deathgrowl in the phrase - 'let all within us' praise his holy name - makes so total sense to me.
I hear it as a prayer to let all the darkness within us be dismantled, and awakened to praise the Christ.
Dan doesn't do anything halfhearted, or without reason, and Dan doing Dan things, i believe, goes far beyond just showing us what he can do.
He's a man on a mission.

I was on XTwitter when Dan tweeted that this song would drop today. I set my devices to his channel and actually saw it go from "private video" to the actual video. Only the second time in three years of listening to his channel that that has happened. Great version by him and Victor, and great reaction to them both! I was so hoping this song was going to be the one he did this year, but Dan being Dan, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had gone in a different direction. This version has knocked Tommy Johansson's down to second and third and Billy Gilman down to fourth and John Berry to fifth. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

For me, the growl evokes the fact that one day EVERY knee will bow and praise His holy name - even the Devil.
I have to watch some of Dan's songs several times to figure out what he is trying to do. I think the distortion and shaking was symbolizing the great shaking of the earth. Still not sure how I feel. Thank you for your reaction and may you have a blessed Christmas.

After hearing it a few times, I saw that the growl and quake went with the words,"......within us....." refers to the evil in the souls of humanity, the quake refers to the realization of the Good of Christ and what He did for us. That's just my take and apparently some others see it that way as well.
@terryeallen-stoda2152 , yeah, Terry, I think you're correct. I believe he used the death growl on "let all within us" to show that every knee shall bow. Even demons will proclaim that Jesus is Lord. At least, I hope that's what he's trying to say. I've had to listen at least a dozen more times to analyze a few spots, but that was the most confusing for me. The more I listen, the more it's growing on me.
This one i had to watch a few times to let it in and it absolutely is my fave now! Power praises ❤❤❤

AWAKEN OH SLUMBERING SOUL! This is what Dan’s powerful Oh Holy Night rendition did. Awakened me from my slumber regarding this song that I’ve had a lifetime of listening to, I became unmoved, the triumphant message dulled. NOT anymore! Chills on chills when he sings “CHRIST IS THE LORD, OH PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER”… 🤯😍🤯😍🤯. Victor was magnificent! Thank you for a great reaction, I enjoy your exuberant exclamations so much. I've listened to a lot of reactions to many of Dan Vasc's songs. I really liked yours & I will listen to more of your reactions (Subscribed). You spoke of what many of us saw in the Christian songs he sang. Some of Dan's real early videos have Scripture in it. As he has grown in his vocal skills, it is important to him to put heart into what he does & not just a performance. Right now, Dan is the only secular singer I listen to, but he does give homage to Jesus in his metal vocal style. I look forward to more reactions from you. BTW, I love his Star Spangled Banner.🖖🖖🖖

Now you absolutely must react to "REFORMED - The Conqueror" From Victor borba. The guy is unbelievable.
I got the worst sound play back ever. It was certainly not Dan’s equipment and I’m using a JBL charge 5. Which is hardly 6 months old. That was terrible. I am not sure who this dude is but you ruined that song for me. I’m premium and I can’t find the song on UTube. I’m gonna hunt this down.
