In my opinion a bias adjustment is necessary for this pedal. I made a clone of this pedal (there is a video on my channel) and adjusting the bias doesn't sound like that, it sounds like John's! Good video as always by the way!!!
on a previous video i asked about a morning glory, but im on the klon hypetrain now and i wanted to know how the archer compares, is it a good purchase to replace my blues driver?
It's a completely different tone from your blues driver, so it depends on whether you want to "upgrade" your current tone, or going for a different approach. The archer ikon is a really fine klon clone for sure
@@JohnMayerGear im definitely trying to upgrade, I feel like the bd-2 is too high gain as weird as that sounds, its also a little too fizzy (also its a stock bd-2 no keeley mod)
@@thirus8312 if you want to keep your blues Driver tone but better, getting a mod (not necessarily a Keeley) on your BD2 is great. In fact Keeley offers a Super Phat, which is pretty much their take on the BD-2 mod..if you want a different tone from what you already have, the Klone

Sorry sounds too much buzzy,there are better fuzz and the Ng2 is another universe.
