The gun looks amazing and looks to perform very well. 75cm band length is back to the half barrel plus 10 method. Is this because your using the 8mm shaft now? The previous CDR guns had 80-85cm band length. But with 7.5mm shafts. I just build a 1300 double roller using your graph for the band length at 85cm. I am using 7.5mm shafts with it. Just interested to here the reasoning for the build. Love your stuff and I have built all my rollers to the way you set up yours.
Hey Andrew, After lots of pool testing and measuring the velocities of the shafts with different setups I have settled with the following formulas. Single rollers: 14mm - half barrel + 5cm 16mm - half barrel + 10cm Double rollers: 7.5mm shaft / 14mm - half barrel + 20cm 8mm shaft / 14mm - half barrel + 10cm
Hye, can you elaborate on the movement I see the gun is making twice in the video after you pull the trigger. Looks like it shocks left up? Any lead in the front or back of the gun?
If you look carefully (i need to put up video from the pool in slow motion) the movement on the gun is only once the shaft has left the gun. The twist to the left is because I am right handed and the gun lifting is the buoyancy of the gun once the shaft has left the muzzle.
Chris. I’m ready to order that gun.
Work of art, very nice! Dive safe, have fun, enjoy life! 👌👍🍻
Great addition
Nice, simple but very intelligent built! Would be of great use for pelagics and larger Cuberas, too. Cheers from Panama >
Great

Double rollers:

8mm shaft / 14mm - half barrel + 10cm
Awesome speargun mate.
And great fish.
