the on stage interactions make me wonder how the relationships between characters changed from this to off broadway - farrah and annleigh don't interact at all, aren't even next to each other, and instead farrah sings together with cairo.
Well, in the Off-Broadway version Annleigh sings with Cairo

@@Elenyiorene YES!! I remember that Cairo had it with Annleigh but SPECCIALY with Farrah
I could be wrong but I think it has more to do with who shares melodies and who is similar in height to share a mic.
Actually, it's more of who's singing what. Reese and Riley, for example, want to be her. Cairo and Farrah think that they *are* her, and the lyrics reflect that.
