Brilliant, I was 10 in 1972 and moved away from Preston years ago, the main thing I remember from the Guild was a pageant on Avenham park, when the (new) Concorde came over slowly at not much higher than a couple of hundred feet then banked around and flew back up the river, what a sight and sound.
Well theres a blast from the past, i walked in the prosession in 1972 with my school back then i was 7 with roebuck ....my kids laughed when i showed them this video
