I am of 1990-93 batch of Patna College. I can say that earlier students of PU were very much book friendly. Saurabh it's disturbing for me, students in the hostel room studying without book. You can imagine how they r serious about his study. You should had to check library. Pathetic

Hope yr show attracts the attention of Bihar Govt. Shri Satya pal malik has proved to be one of the best Governor at 02 places at least. You heard by the Patna University students n same praise has been narrated by J$K students. Education n hospitals infrastructure must be priority of all Government.

Fortunately, I share the same experience as your own, thanks to the Univ. of Mumbai and my highschool, that was locates near a street named after Pandit Dindayal, in a certain suburb of Mumbai. Around Mumbai, which has a significantly high educated population, we keep hearing stories that Bihar produces the highest number of IAS officers in India, far more than the otherwise educated Maharashtra. But this film casts serious doubts on that claim. So my question is ... how true is that ?
These hostels should not be demolished. Government should understand concern of students about these heritage buildings of Minto, Jackson, Newton. Students of PU should start petition on this.
I stayed in Jackson Hostel from 1971 to 1975. There were study hours in the evening, the Superintendent would move around to ensure that students were in their rooms studying. Things changed after 1974.

You can't show the reality bcoz you can't feel reality in one hour.
Khulasa kya krna h. Patna college ke sare hostels ko tod dena chahiy, 2 3 saal tak no accomodations. Saidpur ar ranighat ke hostels ka bhi yahi haal h . Padhai kuchh hoti ni hai, University me ar hostels ko gundai ka akhada bana ke baithe h sab bewakuf sab.

SAURAV I AM MINTORIAN . I lived THERE FROM 1961 to 1964 . But police never came into hostel . Moreover we we were not politically associated as these MINTORIAN are. At least I see fan in Rooms and tube lights are there which was not in our time . Looks like students are more involved in politics rather in study.
